Lakeside At Arbor Place Apartments

Long story short I applied to this apartment complex and paid a total fee to apply of $225.00. The apartment I originally applied for was suppose to be ready 8/13/2020 for move in. I applied on June 25, 2020. Never received a actual phone call from leasing agents here about the status of my application only through email or if I reached out to the office several times to speak to someone. They never reached out to me. I have several emails asking for the status of application only to keep getting either my application is on the managers desk, or we need your bank statements to verify your income. Which the statements were already sent to Lisa 2 weeks before she asked for them again through email not phone call. On July 27, 2020 I received a email from Lisa stating that finally my application was approved and for me to call her. I returned her email and asked is there something wrong with the apartment only to get a response after one month of trying to make sure everything was set for move in 8/13/2020 she telling me the apartment I applied for is no longer available due to the current tenant resigning the lease. She also stated she put me down for not only another apartment but for a higher monthly rent amount. This was told to me less than two weeks before my move in date after I applied a month in advance for the apartment. That to me was very unprofessional and inconsiderate because I now have to rush and find elsewhere to move due to them stringing me along in this process.
