Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am educated on Lakeside Bakery's products and knew exactly what I ordered when I called in to order it The problem is that they changed the product given to me due to inability to receive it from the manufacturer and offered a replacement in a different brandWhen I got home, I realized that it wasn't equivalent nor the same product to what I originally ordered and when I discovered that later on in the day (they close at 3pm) I called the following dayAfter calling several times and no-one picking up, I left a message to the lady who took my order ( [redacted] ***) and never got a call backI called several days after that and could never get in touch with a human beingI left another message on someone else's extension and never heard backI have proof of the calls through my cell phone provider to prove my the quantity and duration of phone calls but the owner didn't want to accept that answerInstead he become quickly agitated when I tried to further explain the situation and was personally verbally belittling me I call this bullyingHe also accused me of breaking the law This is unacceptable and unprofessionalHow am I supposed to take care of the problem in days if no-one picks up the phone nor returns my calls? It's true that this event occurred a month later but only because I was persistent in getting a hold of themWhen I was able to talk to someone, the office manager explained to me that they were having trouble with the phone lines or messaging system in moving offices around, something to that affect but why am I penalized because I could't reach anyone at this companyThey said they never got any messagesThe owner is rudeEven if he's a wholesale distributor, he should be kind and understanding not only to the wholesale community but to the publicHe should not allow the public to buy from him if he doesn't like the general public, which he also told me in his rant I volunteer in my community which sometimes includes needing a large quantity of baking suppliesJust because I'm not a commercial customer and I don't get paid for my services doesn't mean that I shouldn't be allowed to buy in a place that is open to the publicThe only resolution they gave me was that the product that I ordered was now available to purchase and pick upThis is not a resolution I declined because I refuse to give my business to such an unethical company as thisThey suggested that I donate the product to a school and I could get a tax write off but even if I did that, it would end up in my hands again because i'm the one the school would give it to to use for the school's benefitThey apparently don't understand how volunteering works Regards, [redacted] ***

We are not a retail store serving the general...

public and have no showroom. Walk-in customers must know in advance what products they require; we don't have the extra office staff required to educate those customers on our product line. They are welcome to visit our website, www.LakesideBakery Supplies.com to gain an insight into our products.Our invoices clearly state that any product returns must be made within 7 days. The customer attempted to return the product a month after purchasing it. No prior messages had been left by the customer regarding the return. The customer obstinately refused to accept our return policy first with the customer service clerk, then her supervisor, and finally escalating it to the owner. He explained we are a primarily a wholesale distributor serving commercial bakeries, not individuals.As a solution, the customer has been offered the option of purchasing the product she requested and having it mailed to her via UPS. She declined the option.
