On the Day Teira the office manager came to give me an estimate for the project, MsTeira and I went over all of the things to be done, she explained the process along with the material I needed to provide. (She mentioned that the baseboard and trim needed to be remove in order for them to be able to install tile, such baseboard and trim will be reinstall and repainted)There's certainly a balance due owed to Lakeside, but the contract stated that final payment will be made upon completion of the projectI am not requesting additional work to be done other than the one MsTeira said will be done. MsTeira forgot to mention that the contract also stated Start Date 11/14/and Completion Date 11/21/2016. We encounter ourselves with many issues ever since the start of the project, (Jeff H*** said that MsTeira miss-underestimate the project from the timing to the material needed due to her inexperience) I understood, and I was wiling to go on with the project even though the house was not going to be ready for the Holidays MsTeira also forgot to mention that the reason I request the extension of the warranty was due to the quality of the job performed (I've documented all the process of the project with pictures from the beginning and I have visual witnesses as well) MsTeira blamed herself for not physically supervise the project, leaving all the responsibilities to Mike the crew manager. Ms Teira agreed that the job was poorly done!!!!! I made many attempts to contact Lakeside Construction's office, due to the fact MsTeira was not handling our last communication via text with professionalism.

Good Evening ***, We have received the above referenced complaint and the information. The *** family did enter into a general contract that only charged for the labor for the time referencedAt the time issues arose with the work completed the *** family made a request
that was granted extending the warranty of their contractThe contracted work has been completed and their is an unpaid balance still due at this timeThe work the *** family is wanting addressed was not included in the original contract and if they desire to have it completed; there would be additional charges in order to do soBeing the original contract has been completed, and Lakeside Construction was willing to extended the warranty to address the work we are still owed funds for the original contract We have documented communication advising the client to reach out when the *** family had the time to allow Lakeside Construction to complete the work that we are not obligated to address per the contracted we entered into We will include you in the email communication that we send to them from this point Thank You Teira Office Manager Phone:

The issues at hand address the contracted work to be completed. Lakeside made multiple attempts to work with the [redacted] family regarding the work they were seeking. Again as we stated we honored the request to extend the warranty on a contract that hasn't been paid in full. We have no problem addressing the issues the [redacted] family has but being the work wasn't included in the original contract it would be a change order to be paid with a cashiers check up front as stated in the orignal contract.

I am rejecting this response because:
Wow, Ms. Teira keeps getting out of context!!!  The [redacted] family advised Lakeside contractor of their own personal needs, (Ms.Teira put ourselves, our 5 kids, and the family dog in a very stressful situation after messing up timing on our project) ruining our Holidays as well.  We agreed to keep going on with the project knowing Ms. Teira was not very well acknowledged and  inexperienced, why wouldn't Lakeside do the same, and prioritize the client's important needs??? The main problem we had with stair nosing was that Ms. Teira said on the day of the estimate ""there was not a problem, that it was doable "" (Ms. Teira don't forget that you order the initial stair nosing piece and didn't work). Our nightmare started when Jeff told us that Ms. Teira messed up everything.... I never had any problem with Mike, I enjoyed very much working with him, I appreciated very much his advice as well!!! He's very well acknowledged of what he's doing!!!!! The problem was Ms. Teira not talking responsibility of her own duties!!!!  [redacted] took over the project, leaving the rest unfinished as well....  I'm attaching the last text communication I had with Ms. Teira where we were trying to schedule Travis to come to paint Baseboards and Trim. Unfortunately, instead we end up in this situation due to Ms. Teira's unprofessional way to handle this matter.
