Review: I contracted with this limousine company to provide a 3-hour Christmas Light Tour excursion for 8-9 people on Christmas Eve. They never showed up

I contracted with this limousine company to provide a 3-hour Christmas Light Tour excursion on Christmas Eve (12/24/13). We paid in advance for the trip. On 11/27/13 my wife and I spoke with the owner's wife "[redacted]" and booked the date/time. [redacted] stated she would email us additional information about the trip. She never did. [redacted] did, however, demand we pay a $40 gratuity in advance to secure the reservation, before any service was rendered (I now know why). We pointed out that this gratuity was not advertised as part of the deal and she responded by stating this was mandatory, so we paid it. Early on 12/24/13, the driver "[redacted]" called me to confirm pick up time, place and # of passengers. At the scheduled pick up time, the driver never showed up. I immediately began calling leaving voicemail messages directly with [redacted] and the company. Almost two hours after the scheduled pick up time and only after I advised the owner "[redacted]" I was going to sue him, did he finally returned my call and simply stated [redacted] was his best driver. The owner offered no excuses or justification for his company's complete failure and negligence. He offered nothing of any value to resolve the issue. My family was devasted, especially my elderly mother-in-law who had never done anything like this. On 12/26/13 I wrote a letter to the owner. On 12/29/13 [redacted] texted me to "apologise" and nothing more. On 12/30/13 the owner called me stating he had supposedly fired [redacted] (something I never requested or even discussed with him). The owner offerred nothing but a refund of my costs. I told him I was going to sue him which I am in the process of doing.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of costs and additional damages now totaling $5,000-7,000.

Review: I booked this company for a christmas light tour through Sac Perks deal. When I called to make my reservation the owners wife [redacted] told me that there was a 40 booking fee which was not disclosed on the website or deal they provided. So I went ahead and paid it since I needed to book with it being so close to christmas. Once I booked it I read more on the deal and there was absolutely nothing stated about pre paying 40 dollars to book. So I emailed [redacted] the owners wife who then proceeded to tell me that she was sorry that I did not want to tip my driver and that if I wanted to cancel my reservation that she would refund the 40 and that she actually preferred that I cancel my reservation. I responded back about how unprofessional she was and that it's not that I did not want to tip my driver but simply that I wanted to tip him based on performance the night of. Which ended up being 50 bucks. So she told me that she would refund me giving me a visa gift card and that it would be attached to my contract the night that I was to be picked up and it was not there as promised. So when that happened I was in contact with them and was told that it would now be mailed. To this day they have not sent it nor have I received anything I have made multiple attempts to reach them via email text message and phone and they refuse to respond.Desired Settlement: I would like either the 40 visa gift card that was promised to me in writing or a check for 40 refunded to me.

Review: I booked limo service from [redacted] paid $150 dep by phone. I requested 8hr Napa wine tour at Coppola Winery, VSattui. [redacted] wife called, there was a minor mix up that got fixed. I was not contacted after that. There were 6 of us (family visiting from Mexico). [redacted] (driver) arrived. He mentioned a stop to Castello. I told him we requested Coppola & not Castello but it was ok to stop if there was time to go to Coppola. He showed us limo controls; we opened shutter to sun roof; did not open window; it was going to rain. I didnt question directions; thought he knew where to go. It began to rain. We needed to use the restroom; he didn't know where to stop; my IPhone found location 4 min away; I lent him my IPhone. When we left, a chunk of water poured down from corner of the sun roof, we got wet. We closed shutter; [redacted] gave us maxi pads for the leak. We laughed; took pictures for memories. He kept missing turns; with every turn more water leaked. Thought it was best to text [redacted] Wife replied then I lost phone service. We got to Castello; we were there for 2 hrs. [redacted] didnt know where Coppola was, said GPS wasnt working. I got phone service again, found Coppola on my GPS 25 mi away & gave him directions. I got a text to contact [redacted] I expected an apology, a bottle of wine at most; instead [redacted] blamed us for leak. I texted I would post experience online. He replied with voice mail threat. We got to Coppola; there for 15min. I asked [redacted] if he accidently opened window when showing us how to use controls, he said possibly. I texted [redacted] he replied with another threat. [redacted] stopped at gas station; said 8hrs was up; had to pay 2hrs more at $65/hr or get out. We were stressed, threatened, afraid; my body broke out on hives. I called my sister; she was on speaker; I offered $65, he agreed & demanded we pay cash up front. I was scared of him & [redacted] it was best to pay for our safety, he drove us home. We got home, thanked him, he finally drove off. I am still afraid he knows our address.

$465+ for limo service, $65 we were forced to pay plus medical costs due to the stress of this event. I have a medical diagnosis (plus pictures with date & time) that stress from this experienced caused me to break out in hives. There was no contract agreement on what would happen in case of bad weather or limo driver getting lost. [redacted] knew the locations we wanted to go 2 days prior and the morning of. His lack of planning ruined our experience and I think the public needs to be aware.

Review: I made a reservation on November 20, 2013 to rent a limousine on November 24, 2013. I placed a deposit of $162.50, which was half of the total fee. I was told that if I needed to cancel, it had to be 24 hours in advance on the reservation. I cancelled my reservation on Friday November 22, 2013, well within the cancellation policy. I was told that I would receive my refund electronically within 5-7 business days. When I didn't receive my refund I called again. The person I spoke with on the phone got permission from the owner to issue a refund again, but I never received it. I called again, and got the same answer-the refund would be 5-7 business days electronically into my bank account. The last time I called I asked [redacted], the owner, to just send me a check in the mail, since having the funds put back into my account was not working. He agreed, but to this day, I have not received a refund check from them.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund of my deposit which is 162.50.
