Where do I start with this pathetic "little Family/Christian owned poor excuse for a company" I was notified by mail that my payment was late (seems all to common after reading the reviews) OK! No problem, called the bank, issued and sent another check for the amount plus the overdue charge and put stop payment on original checkDONE!Nope! After my second check was deposited the original miraculously showed up and of course stop payment was madeSo this Holy and Christian company added an additional service charge to my accountI explained to them that it was the original check payment that they said they didn't get for the prior month,they said no it was for the current month even though it had the prior month date on it and I had not received a bill of the current month yet??????????? After trying to explain the situation to them they were certainly not going to admit there error as they are Holy and all knowing and me as a lowly customer are at there mercy as I'm forced to adhere to there rules....and be forced to bow down to them or have my water shut offMy brother in-law has also had problems with this company as well as every neighbor I've talked withMy brother in-law had bought a house out of foreclosureIt had been in foreclosure for a couple years, He called to have his water turned on and was told he had to pay a connection fee because the water was shut off for non payment from the previous owner, as well as the past due amount of a couple hundred dollarsHe argued with them and got the same Holier than thou responseSo now I'm going to post in the neighbor hood that every customer of theirs need to call them on the due date every month to verify that they have indeed received their payment on time and I encourage everyone who is forced to be a customer to do the sameMaybe if we blow there phone up they will be forced to hire more competent help or see that we as community we will not be taken advantage of and looked upon as only a cash cow!!!! Any wonder why they have an "F" rating??????
Customer service does not exist with this company! They have a real issue with sending out bills to their customers, but will cut your service immediately! They also will cut the water supply off to the WHOLE neighborhood with NO notice to perform "maintenance", which puts many in a bindEspecially when they do so early in the morning when most are trying to get ready for work! The office is located almost minutes out of the city, but the ONLY option to pay is to either mail a check or drive to their location, which they are known to close down for hours at a time periodically throughout the dayIf you chose to mail a check, that will not ensure your water remains onMy water has been cut off twice due to "nonpayment", but the checks had already been endorsed by them and cashed by the bankWhen you call to speak to someone about ANY discrepancies, they are incredibly defensive, have told me its my own fault, refuse to help, and will just hang up after sharing some choice words w
hypocritical lowlife owners , I live in one of the communities that are serviced by lakeside water company . During and after Hurricane Matthew hit the community water was out. I am aware that it takes electricity to run a well . Personally I have a generator and I was storing as much of my neighbors food in my freezer as I possibly could . Working with a contractor for one of the power companies I was working 16 hour days ,and happened to drive by the house of one of the owners of lakeside water company.His house was all lit up with his generator but the whole neighborhood had no water . These people have the money to play with their race cars and live the good life while screwing their customers . something needs to to done about these crooks.
