As the other complaint made by someone else, WR does over exaggerate on his commentsAs he was polite when he spoke with me he was very cocky in his tone I had another contractor that lives very close to WR say this doesn't surprise me out of himI'm not denying it was usedof his employees told me I could install and return it if my well was bad.To be honest, if they would have told me I could NOT return I still would have made the purchaseWhen I get my new well drilled I can still use itI'm not faulting that at allI am a man of my wordIf I tell someone something I follow through with it. Did his employee Bobbi that he spoke to lieShe lied to one of usShe wouldn't look me in the eyes when I asked her about it after they wouldn't return the item. Being a family owned business competing against the ***, *** *** and *** I would think customer service would be their strong point. If I was in charge of the situation I would have asked to give the customer a couple more days so I could follow up with the other employee If an agreement still couldn't be reached then possibly offer a discount. If I am being honest about the situation I was asking for a full refundIf Bobbi was being honest then no refund should be permittedIf Kaeli says she didn't tell me that either then no refund should be permitted. As the owner, I would try to make the customer happy and give him the benefit of the doubtExplain that maybe his employees were wrong and that he would train them on their policiesAt the same time explain that he can't return the item because he couldn't sell it to another customerTo resolve the issue maybe selling the pump at the stores cost would be a fair offer that he could have provided Obviously WR could say he paid whatever amount he did for the item. This is how I would have handled the situationYou would have kept a customer happy by not saying he was lying to your face and that your employees did not say that because they know better

In response to Mr***'s comment that I brought the screens in pieces, is an untrue statementThe screens that I brought to Mr***'s hardware store were intact and had nothing more than wear an dtearThe life of the corner seals had simply worn out with time.To Mr***'s claim that "the only way to make it exact would be to add a spreader bar in the middle of each screen," I say why would I need a spreader bar, if he had fixed the screens to proper specification The original screens did not come with a white aluminum spreader bar.If Mr*** was unsure of his ability to fix the screens properly, he should not have taken on the jobHe should have been upfront and forthright regarding his knowledge and capabilities in fixing my type of screen.Due to poor craftmanship, not only have I had to return my pella screens times to his hardware store, but I have not been able to open my windows since Mar31st.I have enclosed an invoice form Pella Window and Door with the dimensions and costs of the screens, that I will have to completely replacei want a total cost from Mr*** for my now unusable screens

These screens are for "Pella" windowsbow windows, which are ft tall, and kitchen windowThe screens have dials on the bottom right corner of the screens, which operate the sun shades that are built between the glassLakeview Home Center was suppose to replace corner pieces in them and rescreen which they did doThe corner pieces that were put in were too big, which made the screens too large to fit my window frameI called Mr*** *** and ask him to drive to my home, so he could see the problem, and he admately said no! So I ask him to refund my money, to which he admately said no! He told me to bring them back and I didHe said he would have to order parts and it would take longerI picked them up for the 2nd time, now they still don't fit! They snap into the frame at the top of the window, and get narrower as they go downI called Mr*** againI ask him over the phone if they could have done something to the frame? at which time he yelled at me and said "I didn't do anything to the frameI rescreened them"! He said to bring them back for the 3rd time, the screens were pulled too tight, which pulled the frames in! Mr*** had his employee, *** try to fix the problem*** called me and apologized, because he couldn't fix themI told him that I would be up to get them, which I did, and neither Mr*** or the other owner was there*** proceeded to explain to me & my friend why he couldn't fix themHe said that Mr*** wouldn't talk to him about my screens! On May 23rd I received a letter from Revdex.com with a message from Mr*** ***Not one of these statements is true! There are Pella screens not I do not behave like he said I did!He has never offered to return money for anything! (Not even an apology)! I have only seen and talked to him out of the times that I was at Lakeview Home Center.Because of ruining my screens, I have had to go to unnecessary expense to purchase screens! I feel I was treated very rude and disrespected as a customer!*** ***

This customer brought multiple screens in to be repaired which they wereThe customer claimed three were incorrectWe offered a second time to square them up which we didThis customer then yells throughout the store that we are ripping her off making a productionWe offered to return the
money on the screens in question, but we wanted to remove the screen we placed in themShe then said she was going to the Revdex.com with her issue. Feel free to contact *** *** anytime at ###-###-#### or on cell ###-###-####

First of all these are not ordinary window screensThese are "Pella" window screens, which cost $for the screens that were ruined by Mr***I'm sure Mr*** has never rescreened or repaired "Pella" screens, because if he had done so, I would have them in my windows, and there would not be an issueYou are completely overlooking the real problem hereYou were unsuccessful in fixing my "Pella" screens to the exact dimensions as they were when I brought them to you and they are useless and unusable and need to be replacedI want a total replacement cost of screens!Regards,*** ***

The screens she brought in were in pieces all with broken corners meaning some extra tension was put on the 7/16" corners causing pressure and breaking the cornersThe statement is true that the first corners were to large that we put in just at the mitre joint and we had to order specific smaller mitred corners to make the screens fit in her openingsBecause most of her old corners were broken it was impossible to tell the mitre joints were too large that I originally put in but I ordered the corners at no charge to her and replaced them to make up for the mistake and her drive timeShe called and told me that they didn't operate correctly and she told me that she wanted her money back I repaired several screens for her and the problem was with a few and I didn't feel that we should refund her all her money and I said if she wanted to bring them back for me to double check that they were square I would because sometimes tightening screens can pull the centers in and I could loosen the screen She brought them in and we inspected all that she returned and two were within 1/16th of an inch at around 44" in total and would fit in any opening because the overall frame width of the screen frame was 7/16" so her total variance was around 7/8" which a 1/16th is well within tolerance of the screens were around 3/off which is still within tolerance but I trued them up as much as possible to 1/16thShe spoke to *** and he explained that the only way to make it exact would be to add a spreader bar in the middle of each screen but the spreader we had were white and she didn't like that idea so she took the screens homeShe told *** that she wanted her money back and that someone had to come to her home to see these screens Our company made several attempts to fix these screens and they were put back together with the materials she brought in and with us only supplying new screen cloth, new corner pieces and spline as needed and putting them back to a condition as they were or better than they were brought to us All the screens that have the shade operator she brought in are the ones she is having problems with and all came in with broken cornersBecause all of these screens corners were broken there could be another issue with these like the shade was off, it needed serviced greased cleaned etcas I am not an owner or provider of these types of windows I am unsure of proper maintenance or upkeep of these units. The screens were rebuilt square as much as her older frame would allow to the dimensions brought in and the shade operator was put in the positions that they were in on the broken units she brought to us We made attempts to help her with these putting them together with her old frames with new screen materials, corners and splineWe put them together and rescreeened them per the agreement when she brought them in When she brought the screens in for her original estimate on rescreening she said she priced new screens and it was too expensive around $ She was informed that rescreening and replacing the corners and spline wouldn't be close to that and was given an estimate of around $for putting in new screen, corners, and splineOf all the screens she brought in I was aware of a problem with only these operator style units she brought in and she demanded all of her money back We rescreened the screens as she was told from the beginning and because the units were rescreened with parts and labor that were still in her possession we told her she would not be refunded If she wants to bring us back the material that we used on the screens she has a problem with I will gladly refund that portion of the problem as I believe that she needs totally new screens for those units

All corners on the 5 screens in question were broken that she brought in to repair. If the corners are broken the screen is in pieces held together only by the spline and screen. I am very confident in my ability to repair screens and windows as I do over 200 per year and have been doing so successfully with little or no issues since 2001 with a multitude of repeat customers.  The cost of each of the screens she had repaired if that is what she wants to know was 11.35 each.

January 31,2016Incident Report[redacted]Grundfos PumpPurchased 1 13120 1 6Approx 12:30pm cashier Justin K[redacted] paged me over the intercom to check out apump that was brought back for a return. The customer had his receipt and also thepump*INSPECTION: This is a Grundfos water well casing pump. The...

pump had beenopened and used for some time. The shinny outside of the pump was covered in blackresidue from well, mud and residue were also packed inside the end of the pump, also theinsulation on the wires leading out of the pump were damaged as if pulled on. The pumpstill appears to be fbnctional however no shop test was carried out because of the damageto rest of the pump.DECISION: This pump cannot be returned because it is not in sellable conditionand there is nothing I can do to make it resalable.OPIONION: Customer used pump as needed when he had other problems hedecided he wished to return pump.Whom I later find out is customer [redacted] I confronted and explained thatthe pump had obviously been used for some time and with the debris and damage to thepump I could not honor the return.Mr. [redacted] then became confrontational and said that the store clerk BobbiH[redacted] told him it could be returned at the time of purchase if it has been used. I said Ididn't think so but I would check because Bobbi was on shift. I then called Bobbi infront of Mr. [redacted] and asked her directly if she remembered the customer? Bobbi saidyes she remembered the customer and I asked her if she told him we would return theitem if it had been used. Bobbi stated in front of Mr. [redacted] and myself that; she toldhim if he kept the box and receipt we could return the pump. She never told him he coulduse the pump then return said pump. Bobbi then explained to Mr. [redacted] that we do notreturn items that have been used for a refund.I then explained to Mr. [redacted] that if the pump was opened not damaged andused for so long I would have no problem with the return. However do to the damage ofthe case of the pump the packed mud and the wires all beat up there was no way I couldreturn the pump. I then asked Mr. [redacted] if the pump was defective which I then wouldhave other options as in a repair or exchange. Mr. [redacted] said the pump was notdefective and he had a bad well. He also stated that a plumber told him to put a pumpdown the well and run to see if his well was good or not and that is what he did. Iexplained that I would not have recommended that advice. I then asked Mr. [redacted] if heunderstood that the pump 1) had been ran for sometime, 2) was packed with debris. Hesaid he understood but it should be returned. At this point I plainly told Mr. [redacted] that the pump would not be returned dueto the usage. Mr. [redacted] demanded to speak to the owner at this point and I told himthat I was such person. Mr. [redacted] then demanded that I write a new receipt because hecould not read the address. Mr. [redacted] then told Justin that he wanted a receipt with thedate on it. Justin pointed to the date on the original receipt. Mr. [redacted] then asked mefor a copy of his original receipt witch I took and copied by hand for him. Mr. [redacted]also asked for a copy of the store policy on returns, I then took the policy and copied itfor him. I asked Mr. [redacted] if there was anything else he needed. Mr. [redacted] thenstated that I was cocky I brushed this comment to the side trying not to beconfrontational. I asked Mr. [redacted] if my staff and I met the demands he requested. Mr.[redacted] said yes we met all his demands besides returning the pump.Mr. [redacted] made several hints that he would follow up with further action. Ithen took several pictures of the pump for my records. Mr. [redacted] then pronounced thathe would never come back walking out the door.[redacted]
