Hi,This is in reference to the complaint # [redacted] .First of all we would like to mention that if an unwanted pop up appears on the computer screen, Virus Eraser has nothing to do with itWe are Antivirus Software company for [redacted] and [redacted] with Tech Support Services for consumersWe also work with resellers / affiliates to process our salesIt could be possible that when the customer called he reached our one of resellers and as an option Virus Eraser Antivirus Software was offered to the customer All the proper guidelines were followed before processing the payment as without customer's permission or authorization no charges can be processedAs we can see that customer is looking for a full refund of his money per the desired settlement, we have proceeded with the sameThe amount would reflect within 5-business days back to customer's accountWe hope this resolves the concern and we would like to thank the customer for trying Virus Eraser.Thank you.Regards,Team Virus Eraser

I am rejecting this response because: I wish to keep the case open until the credit card company has settled on the disputeI wish to clarify that virus-eraser (or one of its affiliates) made unsolicited contact with my motherShe did not reach out to anyone regarding a computer virus

I am rejecting this response because: the people that I talked to told me they were techs from the company and would be able to install and erase all viruses I feel that the tech support has hacked my information and hurting my computerAlong with the virus protection because I now have another supposed virus on my computer and when I call the your virus company the gentleman told me there is nothing he can do about it

Hi,This is in reference to the case no [redacted] , we do see that the customer called us on 22nd of July, and paid $for Year of Service, after the proper authorization the payment was processedPer our service agreement if any of our customers are unhappy/dissatisfied with the services and want the refund we proceed in resolving the issues within to daysWe received your call and the diagnostic expert helped you understand why did that issue occurred on your computerVirus Eraser Inc is an authorized reseller partner for [redacted] and not a partnerThere must have been some miscommunication and we apologize for the sameVirus Eraser helped you fix the issue of the computer and agreed to provide the support for next yearWe understand you did not want us to cash the check but the scan copy of the check was already in the system and the bank cashed itWe sent out a check as for the refund, as acheduled, the entire process takes 15-business daysAs per your email, we see you have not received the checkWe will cancel the first refund check and send another check for $199.99, which you should receive within - business days.We apologize for all the inconvenience caused.In case there is any further question the customer can reach us out at [email protected] or can contact on our Customer Service number: [redacted] .Thank you.Regards,Team Virus Eraser

I am rejecting this response because: We have not had our money of $245.50 refunded to us. They refunded $129.99 to our credit card,and they claimed we had to pay this amount first before they would refund the $245.50. Our Credit Union stated there has been no refunding of $245.50 from Virus Eraser!
