I am rejecting this response because:
I have written documentation from the dealer (also faxed to seller) stating the truck is in poor condition and undriveable with faulty brakes along with other issues. The truck was unsafe for the road and the seller should not have let it off their lot for sale. I hope they did not sell this vehicle to another customer without fixing. I can fax documents to Revdex.com of requested. This is a classic example of auto dealers trying to take advantage of consumers. The only positive thing that came out of this is that I didn't get hurt driving an unsafe vehicle off their lot. I also submitted a complaint with the state of ct. Faulty brakes is not a matter of opinion- if they don't work they don't work. I trust the judgement of the ford dealer because they weren't selling me the truck (like the seller saying everything is ok!). Definitely not responsible for paying them to tow their own vehicle back to their own shop that was unsafe for the road (documented by licensed dealer)!

Review: I agreed to have Lakewood Auto fix the damage that was done to my car after I was involved in an accident. The work that was required to be done was completed but my car was returned to me with additional damages to the paint on the exterior of the car including dents and scratches on the roof, gouges on the door handles, dents on the door, and scratches on my rear window. These items were not there previous to my accident and were not there as a result of the accident. When I called to inquire about these damages the owner told me that he would fix them and I could drop the car off later that week. While my car was there he started telling me that if my insurance wouldn't cover these things, they would not be fixed because he's not sure where they came from. Even though he previously agreed to fix them he was now denying any part in it. He gave me and my boyfriend the run around for over a week and finally agreed to fixing it, still claiming it was not his responsibility. I just picked up my vehicle for the second time and not only were the repairs done poorly and made damages even worse, there are now additional scratches and marks on my vehicle, including black paint on the rear fender and fading paint patches over the entire car!

On 5/1/13 @ 9:28am I left a message on customers cell phone number to please contact us to set up appointment to show us her complaints with the repairs. We are waiting to hear from customer.

We fixed the roof of the vehicle for free.
