I have had a terrible experience renting from LakewoodSomeone tried to break into my apartmentThey busted out the back window in the bedroomI was informed by the landlord what happenedHe explained that he put plywood on the windowHe told me that I would not have the window replaced until the week afterI guess Lakewood did not feel that my safety was importantAlso the plywood the landlord put on was thin and he only put it on the outside not the insideThe screws were on the outsideAnybody could take them outI had a problem with the fuse box, they said it was *** problem because I guess the maintenace man did not want to come fix it*** came out and assured me that it had nothing do with themI found out the hard way that consumers are not always right and a long as they get their money you and your family safety in their rental property is not their concern

I applied here for an apartment months ago and their policy states they do not set up appointments without first conducting a credit checkI submitted all information waited weeks for call back to get an appointment scheduled an appointment only to find out that the apartment applied for was no longer available the same day of my appointmentI called the property manager to ask why wasnt I informedThe manager was very rude stating she forgot someone put down a deposit on itI then applied again months later for a different property with same companyMy credit was ran for the first time by the company then I was told I was denied by them for poor creditIrene told me in email my credit scdore was which I knew to be untrue because I was working with all credit bureaus and confirmed with all a week prior that my credit score was I asked Irene the property manager about this and she refused to further go into detailI asked irene to send me the report she receiv
