I am rejecting this response because:Yes, Mr M*** did indeed come out and and do the tearing down and some haul away of the debrisHe also did do the new decking rail and siding with some defects and the electrical plug with some defects(please see pictures) The reason as to why Mr M*** is no longer doing the job was because not that we pulled him off the job it was because there was no way of us getting in touch with him and by us I mean me and my wife as well as our insurance company *** (please see attached letter from our insurance company stating they were waiting on Mr M***)We had to hire a different contractor to finish up the workFix the mistakes Mr M*** made as well as the paint job and install the gutterThe gutter job was in the original appraisal to be done which was never address by Mr M***Mr M*** after finishing up the things that he did do, never at anytime did come back to our home nor did he contact our insurance company with a new bidThat is the reason why we ended up going with a different contractor to finish up the job. What we are seeking from Mr M*** is a reimbursement of $that we had to pay the new contractor to fix the mistakes that MrM*** did before the new contractor he could start his job(Please see pictures attached) Please see all attached documents:pictures of finished work by Mr M***letters from *** insurance trying to get a hold of Mr M*** email from me to *** explaining why we needed to go with a different contractor

In response to claim# ***I was contacted by Mr*** *** regarding a fire on his deckI went out to his homeand he showed me the scope by *** Insurance CoI told him it was very lowIcontacted *** and they said they would handle the difference with supplements.Mr*** wanted me to start
ASAPHe gave me his deductible amount of $500, plus$down payment We began the demolition and found several problemsThe olddecking was nailed with ring shanks and screwed with 2" star-headed screws that werefull of paintWhen we removed the old siding the tyveck was melted and one electricplug that no one saw was also melted (the box and wires.) We were told by *** tosubmit an estimate (see attached).We finished all the demolition and haul to the dumpWe installed new decking, rail, thesiding, and replaced the electrical boxMr*** then told me he wanted his painter to dothe painting***'s scope for the painting was $Mr***'s painter, ***, gave a bid of $for the paintingI sent Mr*** the attached estimate(#***) to send to ***.We then had reached a stopping point, until we heard back from ***Approximatelyone week later, Mr*** pulled me off the job completelyWe were never allowed tocomplete the project.Please note that even with the deductible and down payment we are in the hole severalthousand dollars for the amount of work we did complete.Mike M***Lakewood Restoration, Inc
