We have spoken to both *** *** and *** *** We have found a resolution and will be removing Ms*** from the title MrPierce will be completing new paperwork on October 17, At that time concern will be resolved

This is in response to our customer *** *** who purchased a vehicle from us on May 14, The *** Lease program Excessive wear and use allows for up to $total waiverIf there is excess wear and use above the waiver then ***
will bill the customer directly and the dealer has no notification or obligation When *** picked up Ms*** car and did their inspection they had determined $worth of damage. Ms*** called the dealership stating they received a letter from *** and owed $for damage to the vehicle that was turned in. The salesperson contacted *** on the customer’s behalf and the original amount of excess wear determined was $which we were not aware of at that timeOn the customer behalf we contacted *** again and was able to get it reduced to $1100.00. The salesperson stated that his comments were taken out of context. He was saying that if I had customers in the same boat that you would happen to be the one that this happened to. The salesperson stated he was trying to express that the good people always have something go the wrong way. It was not meant to be taken in the context that Ms*** took it in After *** picks up the vehicle, we have no idea where it will go from there. We know it goes to an auction but no other information is given to the dealership. The car was in rough shape. If we would have thought that this would not have passed the inspection we would have advised her to have the inspection done upon turning vehicle in at dealership. The customer would still then be responsible for excess wear and use over the allowable waiver amount The report from *** shows the excess damage that was found on the vehicle that the dealer was not aware of We always strive to have our customers informed and ensure that we can help them if any situation occurs. In this case we did call and ask for a reduction in the excess wear and use amount requested by *** and were successful. At this time there is no further monetary assistance to be given by the dealership. We hope that Ms*** will continue to be a long time customer

We have contacted our Representative from Honda to review the documents sent to the customer.  When we receive the information we will provide a furtherresponse.  Thank You.

As stated by Ray Laks in their response a customer would be responsible for any amount over the $1,000.00 waiver offer. Which means, according to their response, as they have negotiated the amount down to $1,100.00 it would mean that I owe Honda $100.00. They apparently are not honoring the waiver at all.
