Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
My reasons for rejection are:For the first point, after we initially discussed the menu and price of $50, [redacted] was suppose to send me an updated menu with the price on it for me to sign and approve. He never did, instead, after my repeated request (Event was getting closer and I was losing time to find another venue) finally [redacted] sent me an email with a price of $60 (not $57, an indication that they change prices with no basis) that I never seen or accepted and after several attempts I finally reached him on phone and he accepted to keep the price at $50 per person as we negotiated the first time I was there. The second point, I was never given a bill for the event, and not a credit card receipt for the deposit. I found out about the deposit taken when I got my paper copy of credit card statement. They only gave me credit card receipts for my final payment. If they would have provided me with credit card receipt for deposit the day of event, I would have resolve this issue right on spot. I feel they were hiding something from me and they were clearly aware of what was going on. And if I sign the bill, it will be very hard for me to get my money back, and it appears that they were right. From the beginning I felt something is not right. The moment that I felt I am not getting the menu with the price as was promised and I was insisting, it crossed my mind that they will overcharge me the last minute when I will have no option but accept. All my negotiations and communications were with the manager, [redacted] and he knew well that I will back off if he raises the prices on me, so he agreed with $50 per person, not $44 or $60. I really don't know where $57 came from?Lala Rokh's management covering their lies with lies. If they have been in business for 21 years, I have spent last 40 years of my adult life in this country with no problem and have never contacted Revdex.com. It really bothers me when I clearly negotiated a fair price of $50 and [redacted] accepted, I have to go through this. The management never let me talk to [redacted] after this incident, the person that I was communicating with all along. Why was I denied to talk with him if they were honest? I am an honest person that tells the truth. I feel I was cheated, and if I am fighting this fight is a matter of principle. I appreciate that Revdex.com listened to my concern. This was a great lesson, a  bit costly, but never the less, let it be known to others.
