Lamar Locksmith

What an awful experience!! The key for my Jeep Cherokee was broken, so I went to Lamar Locksmith on Bladensburg Road for a replacement. It took about an hour for the technician to run diagnostics, using about 4 machines, to try and assess my vehicle and the electric key. (Which they STILL didn't figure out!!)
While waiting, the owner (an older guy from Israel) decided to chat me up, which was fine. He got on the subject of politics, which is okay as long as you keep things light. Then he started talking about how screwed up America is, and how he wouldn't want his family to come here from Israel because of how awful it is here.
He then moved on to a rant about how if he had his way, he would round up all of the "gays" in America and kill them off. He'd exterminate them all in the streets, like the old days in his country. Seeing how my wife and I are in a same-sex marriage, I immediately asked him to unhook my vehicle, hand me my key, and I left.
It's fine that he is against gays and lesbians, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, this is BUSINESS, and you never know who you're talking to. I could've just as easily been the mother, sister, daughter or best friend of someone who is gay, and it would've been just as offensive. This business will not get a penny of my money, a drop of my business, or an ounce of my respect. He would do well to keep his personal, non-locksmith or key-related opinions to himself!
