In reference to the compliant filed by *** ***ID #***. As per BCN Telecom's Terms and Conditions, if a customerwants to discontinue their service with BCN, we need written notice BCNTelecom requires thirty (30) days advanced written notification forcancellation of any
serviceCustomer shall be responsible for all chargesthrough thelatterof the 30th day after BCN Telecom received the notification of disconnect orthe date the customer stops using the serviceCustomer must provide theinformationnecessary for BCN Telecom to complete the requested service disconnectIfcustomer requests service to be reactivated, a service reconnectionchargemay applyBCN Telecom’s processing of a customer requested service disconnectshall not relieve the customer of any resulting Broken Term Penaltyobligationit may incur as defined in the BCN Telecom Service Term Agreement.Inthe event the customer disconnects service prior to completion of theunderlying Service Term Agreement or a service disconnection occurs as a resultofnon-payment,BCN Telecom reserves the right to chargeback the customer for any and allwaived installation or activation charges or promotional accountcredits. Mr***ported his phone service to a different carrier with out notifying BCN onFebruary 2015. Since we did not knowthat he had left us BCN issued an invoice to Mr*** on February 1. On March 26, we received a “Lost Line Report”(this is standard in the telecommunications industry) from the carrier notingthe line was no longer in BCN service. Unfortunatelythis late in the month billing for March had already begun and anotherinvoice was sent to Mr***. We credited the invoice for March and prorated theFebruary invoiceA check is being issued to Mr*** for the prorated amountand he will be receiving this shortly.
