Lambert's Service

I'm disappointed in the Revdex.com for providing an A+ rating for this company which is very inaccurate and misleading by my experienceI utilized the Revdex.com to find quality roofers and was extremely disappointed by Lambert RoofingI called numerous roofers but Lamberts had the soonest availability, so I booked with them even though I spoke with other companies with much more friendly and knowledgeable staffLambert's was scheduled to come out between 8-and call firstWe waited all day and never heard a thingFinally at I called to try and get some answers before they closedThe lady answering the phone was not very pleasantShe called me back and said the roofer that was supposed to come to my house had called out sickI asked why, since they were aware he called out sick, they wouldn't have called those customers with appointments to let them know and rescheduleNot only did she not have an answer, but she acted like it was no big deal and did not offer a sincere apology or explanationDespite the owner standing right beside her and talking in the background, he has nothing to say, and no apology to offer or attempt to rectify this mark against his reputationShe spoke with the owner and she said someone could come out the next dayI hesitantly agreed, but stated their company did not instill much confidence in me based on their lack of communicationShe had nothing to say to that, but just ended the callShe called me back a few minutes later and relayed to me "the owner says since you don't have confidence in us you just need to find another company"I was shocked, but quite thankful that now I have the opportunity to find a much more reputable and professional companyThey made a horrible first impressionI can't believe that the owner would not have stepped up to the plate and said, "I understand your concern with us, we messed up, we apologize, but give us the opportunity to come tomorrow and show you how our company really is and earn your businessThis never happens, we are sorry it did and want to make it right"That would be the response of a service provider, and would have earned my respectIt makes sense to me now why out of all the companies I called they were the only one with an immediate availability - because their customer service is so poor they cannot keep or earn business to keep them busyNow I know it's worth waiting for a good roofer, I would never ever recommend this company to anyoneIf the owner/leadership is bad, it's no wonder the lady answering the phone is dismissive and providing poor customer service, nor is it any surprise their employees call outI sincerely hope the Revdex.com changes their rating of this company as the current rating is not an accurate representation of this company and future customers need to know the lack of value it places in its customers
