On November 3, 2016 I, Douglas L[redacted] a representative of L[redacted] Pest Control Services (LPCS) conducted a pest and termite inspection for customer 102317, at that time the customer entered into a Pest and Termite Control Agreement which the services initiated at that time. a vapor barrier to flooring of the crawl space. The customer called November 7, 2016 to advise LPCS they were still having pest issues. Several follow up appointments were made to rectify the pest issue the customer was experiencing. After several appointments to the customer's home, I advised the customer that they could possibly have a moisture issue which is the main cause of the issue that they were experiencing. I informed the customer that I would need to schedule a day to conduct a thorough inspection in the crawl space of the home to identify the exact location of the problem. I also advised the customer that I will possibly need to make small incisions in the floor insulation cover to properly identify the problem area. I contacted Mr. Tyrone L[redacted] Sr. President of LPCS and informed him of my intentions. We, Mr. L[redacted] and I, decided not to make any incisions, but instead use a moisture meter, an instrument use in determining the percentage of moisture in a material. On December 22, 2016, I informed the customer of our decision and presented the moisture meter prior to conducting the inspection. During my inspection, I noticed incisions and water located under the kitchen and laundry room areas. Pictures were taken and presented to the customer. I advised the customer to contact a plumber to rectify the plumbing leak which was the cause of the pest issue. After conversing about pricing, I asked the customer if it was okay if I could also check the hot water heater as well, she agreed. Once I completed the inspection, I informed the customer I had another appointment scheduled and I would return to discuss more options and to see if there were any more leaks. When I returned to the customer's home I received a call from the customer's son. He implied, I damaged the insulation under the customer's home. I advised him the insulation cover was already damaged when I did my initial inspection in the crawl space of the home. The customer ordered me to leave, I complied to the customer request. LPCS is not willing to enter into a settlement concerning this matter. We have completed all agreed upon services as stated in our agreement and we have not done any harm or damage to the customer’s home.
