Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[I feel like an inferior product was used and the product put down was contaminated with weed seedI asked the lawn technician at the time the job was completed if I were to do anything and I was told by the technician not to do anything since they were reseeding in the FallI may be part to blame however I wasn't told to do anythingI realize there was labor involved on the job but I would think the owner would at least try to resolve this in some mannerI do intend to pursue this if we can't work some resolve outThis is upsetting to me as I did exactly what I was told to do - which was to do nothing to the lawn.] Regards, [redacted]

The customer and grounds keeper were informed prior to the sod being laid that the sod would have to be watered daily, the first day being very crucial They were informed that the sod should be lifted up to see if the ground underneath was completely saturated We spoke to the grounds
keeper on site while he was watering the sod the day after installation He was informed that he needed a better sprinkler and that he should ask the neighbor to borrow his water so he could get caught up All the sod was cut out of the same field at the same time Even the sod supplier visited the sight and stated it was not sufficiently watered when put down so the roots went into too much shock We should not be held responsible for their negligence

After speaking to the customer we have come to a satisfactory resolution for both parties

First of all, we also had an issue with water in the basement on a new construction. The builder said we watered the grass to much and water got in the basement on the side of the sod that was sparse. On the exact same side they said water wasn't there - but there is 1/2 acre and everything else is good.2nd. I notified the owner within 24 hours that the sod they laid was brown/sparse and looked different and did not appear the quality of the other sod- Owner personally discussed with me to give it a few days but he'll make it good- hence the rest of the grass and 1/2 acre yard is great. He then meet with my ex husband who watered the yard daily for hours and told him to water excessively, pick up of the sod and if it's not wet keep watering. - We continued to water - and the basement leaked.(we had no rain). Builder came out and said (same side of house were sod is sparse)  we watered the grass to much on that side  - there are water stains on the window quoted the Builder and said it's due to overwatering your lawn - same side of house of brown/sparse sod.   I thought this was a crazy comment and called Lambs landscaping and the office staff quoted"we have heard of that before" I called the office again asking the owner to review the area were the sod was down - as he quoted" the first week lets see how it does - otherwise I will make it good" the first call.  When I called the office - they staff said they will leave a messageThey installed September 14th and I called - (which I have phone records )- immediately when installed, and every week after - When no response other then the 4th week when I received the email.   I called the office 1 week later - they were actually curt and rude - instead of friendly service - that I paid $2500 - no return phone call I called the office last week prior to the compliant ' they said owner on vacation - and they are too busy to call  - the guy that was working in place of owner. I then resort to the email and they sent an email - with no return phone call, that Said it's not their fault- Although I put them on notice 24 hours within install that the quality of the sod was subpar. I still as of today have not had a phone call - from the owner as I left 4 messages.  Just doesn't make sense that we watered 1/2 acre yard and the only sparse place is the sod that I addressed from day 1 and the owner personally said to me "if it doesn't come back " I'll take care of it. I have also disputed this on [redacted] and going to the interest on [redacted] to place a review of my experience.
