Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 8, 2015/06/23) */ As a company who has been in business for years we have serviced many many customersWe are not nieve to think we have pleased everyone, but we do feel we do our best to tryIn addition, since we have been in business for a length of time, we are not new the the way this business worksAs this customer mentioned in her complaint her displeasure, let us say that this is her opinion, and like all stories, there are always two sides When a customer comes into our store & wants to order a dress a process goes in to effectOur consultants are trained to take measurements & relate a costume's measurements to the proper size chart to ascertain the correct sizeWe even go a step further and have a customer try on a dress in that size so she can see how it fitsWe are not hear to force a customer to take any sizeShe can have any size she wants for its her dress & money, & when she wants something different we document that it is at her requestIf a customer does not agree with the size we suggest the to change it is before the dress is ordered, not after it has been received from the manufacturerIn addition, this customer came into the store and tried the dress on before she had it altered & like most dresses it needed just basic alterations LaMerite is not responsible for alterationsWe have a seamstress that we recommend but we are not in control of her feesIt is the consumer's decision to use whoever they wish In conclusion, LaMerite feels the dress needed basic alterationIf she was unhappy with the price, then why did she not find a different seamstressIn an case LaMerite strives to have a satisfied customer and not an unhappy oneWe are truly sorry she feels as she does, but we do not feel LaMerite was at fault or ever & a refund is not justified Thank you for your cooperation

To Whom It May Concern:This is in response to ID# [redacted] As specified in my earlier response, the dresses were received on 10/and the bride was immediately notified The girls who had dresses came into the store, tried the dress on and took them/ Let's just leave it at that LaMerite delivered on time The dresses as was the store's responsibility All else is opinion and rhetoric The above mentioned customer has her dress and there will be no refunds or credits Thank you for your cooperation Owner

The bridesmaids' dresses will not be arriving today 10/14/as LaMerite indicated The new delivery date is either 10/or 19th The wedding is 10/

charged me $160.00 and made me promise to tell her employer, Lamerite, she only charged $60.00.  Doesn't sound like something a business can do according to the IRS.

we are not new the the way this business works. As this customer mentioned in her complaint her displeasure, let us say that this is her opinion, and like all stories, there are always two sides.
When a customer comes into our store & wants to order a dress a process goes in to effect. Our consultants are trained to take measurements & relate a costume's measurements to the proper size chart to ascertain the correct size. We even go a step further and have a customer try on a dress in that size so she can see how it fits. We are not hear to force a customer to take any size. She can have any size she wants for its her dress & money, & when she wants something different we document that it is at her request. If a customer does not agree with the size we suggest the to change it is before the dress is ordered, not after it has been received from the manufacturer. In addition, this customer came into the store and tried the dress on before she had it altered & like most dresses it needed just basic alterations.
LaMerite is not responsible for alterations. We have a seamstress that we recommend but we are not in control of her fees. It is the consumer's decision to use whoever they wish.
In conclusion, LaMerite feels the dress needed basic alteration. If she was unhappy with the price, then why did she not find a different seamstress. In an case LaMerite strives to have a satisfied customer and not an unhappy one. We are truly sorry she feels as she does, but we do not feel LaMerite was at fault or ever & a refund is not justified.

The bridesmaids' dresses will not be arriving today 10/14/2016 as LaMerite indicated.  The new delivery date is either 10/18 or 19th.  The wedding is 10/29.

The date we were told was not October 14th, it was October 1st. He is correct there was 6 six people and then 3. However, the yelling...

and cursing was not me, it was from the business. I could not get one word in. The dresses are still not here and the wedding is October 29th. I was the last person fitted on June 6th and was told I would take 12 weeks, then 12 to 14. I would like to get the dress as soon as possible. Because of the delay, I would like the remaining balance on the bill canceled.
