at time of my visit with Dr. [redacted], I explained I have new insurance with BlueShield, have not recieved new ID card yet.Office staff verified my Blue Cross was still valid.The Blue Cross was billed and payment was made, balance bill was paid by me immediately after recieving a bill from Dr. [redacted]. I called the office in March to cancell my next appointment, I explained my insurance is Blue Shield I gave them ID number asked they fix previous billing and keep on file until my next visit.on July 31,XXXXX Dr. [redacted] sent me a bill for the full price of office visit from February, I asked the office staff, Again to bill my Blue Shield Insurance for the office visit. The next notification I recieved was an EOB from Blue Shiels stating there was an insurance adjustment and the balance went to my deductible, a few days later I recieved a letter from Placer Creditors Bureau? Instead of sending me a bill for the balance after my Blue Shield EOB, Dr. [redacted] felt it necessary to send me to collections with out notification and added interest to my bill? I now have a mar mark on my credit history, im paying interest on a medical procedure that the office staff refussed to rebill correctly at an earlier date. I feel this is poor and unprofessional business practices. I feel that Dr. [redacted] should pay the 10 dollar interest to the collection service! I was given an opportunity to pay my past bills to his office and they were all up to date! I was never even billed for the balance difference between Blue Cross's payment and the Blue Shield payment. I find this appalling business practices. I have tried to talk with the billing department multiple times in the last 4 days to ask why they would not send me a bill? they have refused to call me back to explain the need to send me to a collections agency.
