Lampeter Strasburg YMCA

Review: I was in the YMCA on Tuesday June 4th at approximately 10am. I was registering my child for summer camp. They took my credit card information. I then got home and called them back less than three hours later to tell them that I was not going to be able to attend and since I was literally just there I wanted a refund. The gentleman at one of the offices thought it would be no problem. Then a girl by the name of [redacted] (family service) refused to even consider it then changed her statement to she could not make that decision. I then put a call in to the director, [redacted]. To no avail. No call returned and no email even though her message said she would be out a couple of days, not the whole week and I could email. So I did email and no return. I tried to stop payment the same day but the payment somehow went through. I am not attending and not receiving any of their services. They say it cannot be refunded but in this case summer camp never started and it was literally three hours later, not a day not a week but 3 hours. I consider this stealing my money!!!! For an organization that is preaching compassionate service they certainly are not showing that and I will also be happy to communicate that to others. I will be contacting the CEO today as well , [redacted]Desired Settlement: I want my $137 refunded since I called literally within hours of registering to tell them I would not be coming.

The Executive Director [redacted] and the CEO [redacted] have refunded my money which is what I asked for. I am very appreciative.
