I purchased this item because of a Lifetime Warranty. Subsequently and of no fault of mine, the item failed due to defect in manufacturing. Starting in [redacted] of 2015 I contacted this company and attached pictures of a slotted turner that broke due to material failure. I attached pictures clearly showing this defect. I have been given the royal run around ever since. From "we haven't fabricated the item yet" to "if we need the item back, we will send a call tag for it". The latest from [redacted] was,"we are in chapter 11 so you have to be patient and understand" She also said she didn't want to hear anymore from me. I purchased this item prior to this year and it is a model # XXXXX X" X [redacted] Slotted Turner that was very expensive almost [redacted] The store I purchased this from is no longer in business so I went directly to the manufacturer where it clearly states Lifetime warranty.Here is the link: [redacted]I've given them ample time to resolve this issue and they lie, and give me the run around. Their reputation on [redacted] is terrible ....I've been promised a replacement from T [redacted] yet she too just does nothing but give excuses and lies .....Anyone can still purchase this item immediately on their website anytime ....Therefore they are cheating me and others. I've also spoken to several employees who have taken messages who tell me that the front office ethics isn't very good and they hear a lot of unacceptable treatment of customers going on . Obviously from their employees and [redacted] this company does not value it's customers.As the consumer it is my responsibility to maintain the item and as the manufacturer they are responsible for the performance of the item . As soon as we realized the crack near the handle we stopped using the item immediately.I can send the Revdex.com explicit pictures showing the material failure of this product upon request.Desired SettlementI was promised a replacement ! I want it now. If they are still selling these on their website, they need to comply with their responsibility. No more excuses.If they can not fulfill their obligation under their written warranty....Sanctions need to be laid down on this Company immediately.I purchased this item specifically because of the Lifetime Warranty !I request a total replacement or compensation for this item fully covered under Lifetime warranty !Business Response Mr. [redacted] returned an item and we agreed to replace if free of charge under warranty on [redacted] The item in question was not in stock and we told Mr. [redacted] that NUMEROUS times. He was also advised repeatedly that it would ship as soon as it came through production.We shipped his replacement item (see attached) to him on [redacted] 2015 tracking information is on the shipping invoice. We take our business very serious here at Lamson & Goodnow and value our brand first and foremost.As you can see, this matter has been handled professional and with in our stated scope of procedure. If you need any further documentation, let me know. I consider this matter closed.[redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I've not received any communications from this business or tracking information . They have my contact information. Nothing was done until I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com...........Until I receive the item, this case is not closed ....If Lamson Goodnow takes there business seriously , then why NOT THE CUSTOMER ? They haven't sent me an email with the tracking information and resolution. Today is [redacted] can purchase the very same item on their website immediately ....so the production story doesn't hold water.I want my replacement and if what they say is true why haven't I received it yet ? I ship items all over the US and 6 days is ample time to get from the West to the east or visa versa. Storms or no storms.I think Lamson Goodnow doesn't value their customers and tells stories to make their problems go away ![redacted]Consumer
