I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

August 30, 2017To Whom it May Concern,[redacted] brought his vehicle in to us on May 30, 2017 to address both a check engine light Concern as well as the vehicle potentially using oil between maintenance intervals. During our inspection of the vehicle, it was determined that [redacted] had...

modified the vehicle from its factory configuration with aftermarket performance parts. The modifications [redacted] made directly affect the engine performance of the vehicle; attributing to the conditions [redacted] mentioned. In addition to the modifications, several gaskets, bolts and supports were missing from the engine. The dollar amount referenced by [redacted] was to repair the damaged and missing components that the [redacted] had removed/damaged during their modification process.LCM[redacted] Contacted [redacted] of America and detailed the vehicle's modifications. It was determined by [redacted] of America that warranty Coverage may still apply, but a thorough inspection of the engine was required before administering the warranty. [redacted] was informed that, should warranty Coverage not apply, he would be responsible for the bill generated during the inspection process; a quote was generated and provided to [redacted].The conversation of warranty applicability was made between [redacted] and a representative of [redacted] of America.LCM is currently awaiting [redacted]'s approval of the potential bill before beginning the needed disassembly of the engine to determine warranty coverage.Respectfully,Ross R. Service Manager

November 26, 2015This letter is to address the complaint your office received from [redacted], ID # [redacted].
Everything stated by [redacted] in her complaint is accurate save one, as the Finance Manager here we do not lose any commission by cancelling a warranty previously sold to a customer. I was transferred to our [redacted] office soon after receiving her request to cancel and her documents proving the car was paid off, and in the transition simply forgot. I have no excuse other than that.
My General Manager, Brian B[redacted], authorized our office to cut and mail a check to [redacted] which has been done, and after cancelling her warranty online we are now waiting for the refund due on our end so as not to drag the process out any longer on her end.
If you need any other information regarding this matter, please feel free to contact me.

Douglas P.
Business Manager

To whom it may concern,
In regards to the letter we received from the Revdex.com. I understand the customers concern and I can assure you there was no intent to not cancel the warranty. Our FI manager was in the process of moving his office to another location and the contract was...

not cancelled because it was just a simple paperwork error that was missed. As soon as our FI manager spoke to the lady again, he cancelled it right away because he knew he forgot to cancel the warranty. It usually takes 6-8 weeks for the customer to get the refund because it has to be processed through the warranty and then through us which takes time. It is not an instant transaction unfortunately. It was just human error and nobody gains anything from not cancelling a warranty. In good faith, I have attached a copy of the check that we have issued to the customer along with the backup that shows how we arrived at that dollar amount. She also bought a gap contract which she must have forgot she bought so we will be issuing her a refund that is higher than she thought she was getting. Ary questions or concerns please contact meThank you,
Robert H.
