I kept receiving a bill for $when my daughter was thereHer insurance has 100% coverage for herI have called several times each time I was told "oh that's weird so shouldn't have a balance but that's what it shows so that's what you owe" Finally I called my insurance company who had the call them twice just to get somebody competent enough on the phoneThey had never even send the bill to the insurance company and that's why I had a balanceI was told that the bill would be sent to insurance and a balance wouldn't be owedTwo weeks later I got another bill, same balanceI called again and again was on hold for a hour until getting a answering machine I left my number and when I missed the return call was given the same number to call instead of a direct contactI have spent over hours on hold between all the calls I've had to make I will not call again Lancaster regional should have had this issue fixed the first time I called and if not then at least when my ins

We received a series of rabies vaccinations in August due to a bat bite Some of the claims were submitted incorrectly to our insurance because they were not labeled as "exposure to Rabies." We have been contacting you since September trying to get this corrected, and nothing is happening Our insurance company has contacted you on multiple occasions to try to help resolve the issue, but no one at your hospital ever does what they say they're going to Everyone we've talked to at your hospital/billing department has agreed for MONTHS that the bills are incorrect and are a simple fix We have contacted managers, the head of billing, etc We have been told that we would receive phone calls, but no one ever returns our calls With the way our employer's insurance plan/MERP works, if we do not receive corrected claims by 12/31/17, you will not be paid We have told you this countless times, but it doesn't seem to cause any motivation Our insurance company requires days to

Review: Price dispute. Patient account # [redacted].We were given an estimated cost for a cardiac echocardiogram of $606.70 prior to the procedure (estimate was verbal, but is recorded on our home telephone answering machine. We have offered to play the tape for Lancaster Regional Med Ctr).At the time of the test on 11/26/13 we were told the actual cost was $695.86, which was paid at that time via [redacted] card (receipt# [redacted]).We then received a statement in the mail (dated 11/30/13) showing a balance due. Total Patient cost: $1508.00, payments received: $0.Telephone conversations with the billing dept (###-###-####, patient acct# [redacted]) resulted in the hospital discovering that we actually had paid $695.86 on 11/26/13.Currently the hospital insists that the outstanding balance is $812.14 ($1508.00 - $695.86 = $812.14). Lancaster Regional states that they have no record of the estimated cost of $606.70, and that the estimate is immaterial anyway, even though the actual cost is 2.5 times the estimate (Note that the test type did not change).I have asked that my complaint be run up the hospital's chain of command. Patient Financial Services is currently supposed to get back to me (though they do not have a good record of returning my calls).Desired Settlement: Acceptance of amount paid, $695.86, as payment in full.
