My husband took our vehicle to this location on May 24, 2019 for a routine oil change and state inspection; we paid for our services and went on our way. On May 30 my husband went to our local county office to register our vehicle and the state inspection was not in the database. My husband then had to go back to Pennzoil 10 Minute Oil Change to find out why the inspection was not done, especially since it wasn’t in their system but they still charged us for the service. The guy working there, *** refused to give us any explanation and instead acted like we were in the wrong. He then went on to insult my husband, threaten to slap him, and even stood right up to my husband’s face to provoke a physical attack. My husband did not retaliate but was extremely upset by the entire encounter. We are not unreasonable people and understand mistakes happen, but the complete lack of remorse, explanation, and then aggression towards us was completely uncalled for. The inspection was completed on May 30, 2019.

On 10/4/18 my oil was changed at this location. On 12/28/18 the undercarriage cover nearly flew completely off while wife was driving on highway from not being replaced properly after oil change. The KIA service department informed me that the only causes for these covers to fall are: 1. major collision 2. improperly installed. When the mechanic *** of 10 Minute Oil Change inspected my vehicle he confirmed that fasteners used on my vehicle are the sturdy kind and that 10 fasteners were completely missing. The mechanic also informed me and manager that it is nearly impossible for vibrations to cause fasteners to fall out, let alone 10 at the same time. He noticed that some fasteners were still in place where holes towards the back had been torn open. His explanation was the same as the KIA service department. Which is that with the front fasteners not replaced, over time the ram air caused the cover to rip off. This location was the last to remove the cover. I can support this by mileage when service was done and paperwork indicating no other service was required between the last time they serviced my vehicle and the time incident happened. If any fasteners were missing before 10 Minute Oil Change serviced my vehicle, they would've have notified me as they do about dirty filters, worned wipers, bad hoses, and etc. Additionally, the mileage printed on sticker to return and mileage on receipt to return are off by 2000 miles.

Went in for fix on exhaust leak and a purge valve replacement. Received car in worse condition than it went in and hoses connected where they shouldn't be and hoses missing clamps. Clamps that were on hoses weren't screwed down. Belt cover was missing, air filter missing and screws missing. Air intake hose was not on completely and wasn't screwed down. Took off inner cooler but didn't install it back correctly. When I went back to voice my concerns, they kept telling me to "calm down dude" and didn't care. Paid $150 to have my car in worse shape than it was when I went in.

The owner's girlfriend of the blue WRX brought in their car on December 18, 2018 for us to fix an exhaust leak and replace the purge valve. She is our work neighbor so we gave her a good discount on the repair totaling $162.38 for what ended up being about 10 hours of work.Customer picked up the car that night before we closed. The Very next morning the owner brought his car back up to the shop, frustrated but calmly telling us that we did the "sloppiest mechanic work he had seen". We inform the customer that we will pull it in, have our mechanic look at it and we will make everything right before he leaves again. Our mechanic then notices that the customer pulled multiple hoses OFF that we had installed, added clamps to unnecesary air flow tubes and capped everything he took off with tape saying "I know how to do all this myself, I should have just done it myself". He wanted us to cap offeverything he had tape on with actual caps, make multiple adjustments to the engine, and to get more clamps for hoses where they weren 't necessary. After informing the customer what he wanted us to do was not best for the car, he insisted and we did what he asked for free. Our mechanic did forget to put the belt cover back on initially which we noticed that morning and was going to call him about. But besides that we did the repair correctly according to manufacture specifications, and the car ran significantly better before it left our possesion than when they first dropped it off. All of our conversations were civil and he was appreciative that we made the adjustments he had wanted. We were very surprised when we noticed his review he wrote about us.
