Dear Complaints/Grievances Representative, I am writing to inform your company of an adverse experience that both myself and brother have experienced at the Linq Hotel Casino in Las Vegas (a Caesars Corporation property)Although we have sought to address the following issue with our hotels management team (Krista [redacted] - Guest Services Manager) we were not offered any effective resolution other than to submit a customer service surveyI have detailed our experience in chronological order for your convenience: - 2am: Awoken due to a smell akin to fecal matter that was permeating our room and strong enough to not only wake us, but made both of us visibly nauseous and provoked severe headachesCalled the front desk who after sending a security guard and bell man, confirmed the smells was not due to us and was reminiscent of either fecal matter or restaurant waste -2:15am: Were escorted to a new, similar room on the same floor by our bell hopHowever, the hallway outside our roo

The shower drain was backed up during our entire stayOn the second night, we returned to our room at midnight and it smelled like sewageWe requested an immediate room change but they gave us the runaround for an hour before telling us there was "routine sewage maintenance" happening directly below us
We had to pack our bags at 1:30AM and go down to the front desk for supervisor Jacquetta to relocate usWe had no rest and had to be at the airport at 5amFor our troubles, she offered to comp our resort fee for one nightThis is laughable considering we paid for a room we couldn't even rest inAfter some back and forth, she offered a breakfast credit that could only be used at a few places within the hotelWe asked for a discount in our nightly rate and she refused, saying that since our room was prepaid that this could not be accommodatedJacquetta kindly offered no other remedy and condescendingly told us we were welcome to write about this experience on social media if it made us feel better instead of doing more to fix the situation
Additional perks: The room they relocated us to has a constant deafening electrical buzz that prohibits you from getting any rest at allThey sent us a toothbrush the first day, but on the second day told us the hotel does not carry any dental kits at allWhen we mentioned that we were sent one on the first day, they retracted and sent us a toothbrushSo...this hotel is managed and operated by an inhospitable and rude staff who lies about the bare necessities of amenities that hotels offer
Very disappointed, and we feel taken advantage of as paying patrons
