Review: On August 4, 2015 I came to the park for my sons birthday. I paid for 2 adults and one child. Upon entering the park we went to a food stand and were told they had no electricity. We then went to another food stand, waited on line for 30 minutes, paid for our food and then were told they had no electricity. When I went to the main building to speak to a manger I was told they would call for her. After waiting for 20 minutes no manger came and was told to leave the building. When I went to the enterence to ask for a refund I was told no refunds even though they knew when I entered the park they had no electricity and we were not told anything about the problem. I ended up having to call the police. I was able to get my money back for food but not to get into the park. I wasted 2 hours and had my 2 small children hungry and unable to go on any rides. After several more requests to speak to a manager no one ever came to talk to me. I called the next day to speak with someone and you are unable to. We should have been told when when we first came to the window about the electricity problem but weren't. In fact after talking to several customers the park wasn't even sure if they were going to open due to the electricity problem. We should have been notified upon entering or at least able to talk to a manger. They didn't tell anyone because they still wanted your money but nothing worked in the park. My sons birthday was ruined due to this shady buisnessDesired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for the money I paid

Review: On 07/19/15 me, my wife and young Daughter visited Land of Make Believe, bought tickets and just as we entered the park our young daughter felt faint do to the excessive heat, we were aid and issued a voucher to return to the park for the rest of the 2015 season, since we decided to leave the park do to our young Daughter's health condition. We are not interested in re visit the park and would like the $80.00 we paid with our [redacted] card reimbursed, we contacted [redacted] card customer services, they advice us to contact Land of Make Believe directly since they issue us a voucher to re visit the park.

We called several times left many messages with their office workers Desired and Sam, as of today no body has returned our calls.

Review: Land of Make Believe offers a coupon electronically through the Entertainment app. When Land of Make Believe was presented with the electronic coupon, on 7/28/2015, I was informed that they only accept the printed version of the coupon. (one free adult admission with the purchase of one adult)Desired Settlement: 1) I would like to see Land of Make Believe honor the coupon. Refund or store credit.

Review: Visited park on 8/30 from 3pm-closing. [redacted] admission attendant, w/ an accent, said we have until 6pm to enjoy park, and if we were going to water park...5:30pm. More than enough time for a 3 year old boy and newborn. We got off train ride, and my son wanted to ride the Frog Hopper. It was 5:30pm and the [redacted] or [redacted] ride operator checked her surroundings and tiptoed off her post. She didn't have a line, and it appeared she ended her shift early. My son was upset. I appeased him by telling him the ride was broken, and we headed to the rocket ride. There were at least 5 children waiting on line bc ride was still going, and attendant starting taking materials to wrap pole where key goes. Asked the attendant why is he closing up shop if so many kids were on line since park closes at 6. He corrected me and said 5:45, which other parents weren't aware of. Told him to call a manager. [redacted] came over.Told him to let the kids ride and that it wasn't even 5:45 yet, as well as frog hopper attendant jumping post. He told me it was state law they stay there and the last rides are at 5:45. Told him to stop accusing me of lying about worker leaving earlier and to show proof of law. Told him he should believe in the power of yes. [redacted] told me he believed in the power of NO! Told him there was no way he had any authority because if he did then he would allow the kids one more ride. He showed me a huge sign with small painted lettering under a tree's brush stating last ride is at 5:45pm. We kept arguing that people were closing shop before that time. Asked for manager. Told me he couldn't divulge that (probably because of sexual harassment charge), but gave me number w/trembling hands. Sorry, but a true MGR would have had power to say, "I'm sorry this happened. Let me give your son a piece of candy on me." Spoke to [redacted] 9/4 & [redacted] (who agreed it's a crap job w/ no authority to appease) 9/12 & both said they would pass it along. No one called addressing my concerns!Desired Settlement: I'm not really asking for free admission, especially with season being over, but at least a small token to my son (credit towards his admission or food stand). Why was everyone so secretive about who the owner is or why I couldn't speak to him. [redacted] told me if I wanted to, I could find him online. Ok then, [redacted] or [redacted], mgr...respond to my complaints and take action for your poor customer service rep, [redacted] or the 2 office workers who said they'd pass it along!
