With regard to the above referenced complaint, the statement made by Mr. [redacted] have us scratching our heads. His 2009 Range Rover was involved in a collision in 2014. We do not have a body shop at our dealership, and when customers ask us for a recommendation we often refer them to [redacted]...

[redacted] because they're local, they have a large shop, and the feedback we hear regarding their work is positive. Land Rover Cape Cod is not affiliated with [redacted] in any way and we do not benefit from making referrals. Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle went to [redacted] in October 2014, and it is likely there that his insurance adjuster inspected the vehicle and contracted with the body shop to make the repairs. His car was at their facility between October 2014 and January 2015, and they made all of the mechanical and body repairs. Our only involvement with Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle with regard to the collision repairs was in December 2014 when [redacted] brought it to us to program a new air suspension compressor they had installed, and to look at door panel. We programmed the compressor and contacted a sublet vendor to repair the door panel. Then, in January 2015, we recalibrated the air compressor. The bills for the December and January repair orders were paid by [redacted]. In February 2015, Mr. [redacted] brought his car to us for some minor issues, a sagging headliner, worn wiper blade, misaligned headlamp, vibration felt at highway speeds, "soft brakes, and the air suspension operating more slowly than usual. [redacted] paid for two new wheel rims to address the vibration issue and we took care of the rest of the items. The last time we saw Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was in May 2015. at that visit we re-adhered the headliner tacks, aligned the headlamps, adjusted the track of the front passenger seat, and installed a set of front mud flaps per the customers request. He did not mention nor did we observe, any other issues with the car including the parking brake and motion sensors. His comment that we failed to replace a set of running boards concerned me so I did some research and found nothing noted on any of our work orders about running boards. After some digging, I did find that [redacted] purchased a set from our parts Department that referenced the vehicle identification number of Mr. [redacted]'s Range Rover. If they wren't installed, that's the matter for [redacted] to address. I wish Mr. [redacted] had a better experience with the body shop, and we want to help him as best we can. The only issue I could indentify in his complaint that may have something to do with the work Land Rover Cape Cod perfromed is the loose door panel, and I'm more than happy to take a look at that for him. As for any lingering issues related to the accident and or collision repair, I would strongly encourage Mr. [redacted] to contact his insurance company and [redacted] to have them resolved.
