Review: LandAmerica Commonwealth Land Title Company at [redacted] issued a supposed refund for $10,799.04. NOT

There was a check stub, but no check. We do not recall receiving this money which was supposed to be a refund for money left over in a refinance. We would like to have this company check their records and see if we cashed that check or if possibly it was stolen in the mail. If at all possible, please give us a call and inform us of your findings.Desired Settlement: I would like to prosecute whoever cashed the check unless it was me and I do not recall cashing this large amount of money. I also would like the company to reissue the check, especially if it was not cashed. The check was dated 05/09/2006 and the escrow number we have is [redacted]. The check number supposedly was [redacted]. I tried to look up this company and it seems they have moved around so much, we are unable to locate them.
