I received a call from a man named Nate wondering if we were interested in selling our Arizona property. He gave me the parcel number etc. I said we wanted to know more. I requested information be sent to us. He wanted to send it via online and I said my email was down so he sent a contract via US mail and included information he had stated but had my phone number wrong. He had it listed as: (XXX) XXX-XXXX which is not even in the state I live in. He also sent it via email but I did not tell him I had gotten it.

He left a number to call when I received the contract in the mail which was (XXX)XXX-XXXX).
He called again and I said I had not received it. It came two days later and I called that number but no one answered. The phone registered the name *** and the number of (XXX)XXX-XXXX.

Nate gave me his personal phone number to call which is: (XXX) XXX-XXXX and registered as a Florida Call.

In the contract it stated I would be charged a $299 fee for a title search and $99 a month while property was on auction - usually 2-3 months upon receiving my signature on the contract. Included was a US postage paid Priority mail envelope addressed to:

***
XXXXX US *** N
*** XXXXX

I got a phone call from Nate again today but I did not answer it - asking me to call back. I wanted my children to review the contract so didn't want to talk to him before doing so.
This afternoon I was checking my bills and called my credit card company about excessive bills. They were coming from LandBid.corp. I have canceled that credit card. This is fraud. I hope I can recover the charges.

Nate never asked me for my Social Security number or personal info. I had no idea this was a fraud. It sounded legit.
Product_Or_Service: 20 acre parcel

Desired Outcome

Refund First I want the money charged my credit card be refunded. Then I hope these criminals get prosecuted.

Mrs. signed up with Landbid to auction off her property in Arizona on Jan 22 2020. She went through an audio verification system and confirmed to the one-time charge of $299 and $99 a month for the Monthly Advertising fee through auction.

she was billed on Jan XX XXXX. I spoke to Mrs *** on Feb 4th 2020 and she indicated that she wasnt confortable with the deal and wanted to cancel the auciton agreement. I refunded her card right away at 2:22 the same day.

Mrs *** is not a current customer and was cancelled out as she requested. I am not sure why there is even a complaint on file now? She was refunded right away and the auction was never started on her property.

Paid for services that were not rendered.
July 9th 2019 I paid $2,000 for this business to sell my property in El Paso Texas.

No names on the contract.

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back.

Contact Name and Title: Robert V.
Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX
Contact Email: ***@landbid.us
The contract and email should have our contact info. Our records show your property is up on auction and there was an offer accepted by you. Please give us a call so that we can see where the process is for you accepting the bid. I spoke with you last month in regards to the bid. I don't show any further communication from you. Please reach out to us at XXX-XXX-XXXX to resolve this matter.

Paid over $4700 for services that were promised and not fulfilled by the company. No refund nor returned phone call after 50+ calls to them.
In mid June 2018 I received a call from someone named Dominick *** who said he had a buyer for my ten lots in Buckeye, AZ. The price was very good and all I needed to do was send a $1995 enrollment/auction fee to them. When I finally reached their office about 2 weeks later, he was gone and I spoke with Robert *** who said they could continue to list the property and it should sell soon. Many times I called to check the status and rarely could I speak with anyone. Finally, he called me in February 2019 and said he had an anxious buyer for 3 lots for $145K but that I needed to rush him $2775 to open escrow for closing fees and that the guy would close in 1-2 weeks. I called at least 30 times with no call backs although 2-3 times I left a message with Wendy *** (probably her cell phone) who said *** "just stepped out" but that he would call me right back. He never called me back although after about 2 months, he picked up the phone (probably by mistake) and told me he thought it had sold and that he would check on it and call me right back. That was in early May and I have tried calling and leaving messages another 30+ times with no return calls since. They are obviously a SCAM and have lied on so many fronts. Revdex.com has received complaints for almost a year and nothing seems to get resolved while they may (?) still be in business since their phones take messages and their website is still up. Why are these guys still in business and not in jail? Does Revdex.com have any authority to shut down fraudulent businesses? Along with Robert ***, it appears that Wendy and Patrick ***, a Marty *** and Tim *** might all also be involved here. Robert *** also ran a business called Dirt Cheap Lots which he rarely answers the phone for, unless perhaps by mistake or when he is expecting money from it. Call me for more info with ANY update. Just because it's Florida, doesn't mean laws don't apply. Please, take some action.

Desired Outcome

I believe they never acted in good faith and that both my initial listing cost of $1995 and these bogus closing cost fees of $2775 should be refunded to me. Probably another $1000 or more for my wasted time should also be added, but I won't insist on that.

Landbid Response • Jul 25, 2019

I am as unsatisfied with the results of your last few auctions as you are My. ***. Your property is still up for auction. And you are still receiving bids on the property. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that a sale will take place on your property and when a bid is placed I cannot guarantee the sale will finalize either. This is in your paperwork that you have signed between Landbid and yourself. If I am unable to respond right away it usually means that I am not in the office, as I do run several businesses. Dirt Cheap Lots has been in business since 2005 and has sold more than 1000 lots. Your assumptions that you are falsely making are outrageous. I understand your frustration sir, this is the real estate business. If there is anything I can do further to resolve this matter please reach out to me. I have no problem trying to help to satisfy a current client.

Regards

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is already OVER a year since I paid the initial $1995 to Landbid when told of a certain deal pending. I never saw paperwork of any offer to back this up and the salesperson left right after I sent this money. I paid another $2775 for closing fees 5 months ago for a deal that was to close in 2 weeks. Robert *** told me he would refund this money if no deal materialized and he hasn't, PLUS he NEVER calls me back with any follow up or info. No customer/client support- NOBODY returns a call or will talk with me. I want my money back! Landbid has no right to continue to hold it. For such a "busy and successful business" Landbid should not have a problem sending me my money back, right?!! No excuses, refund now!

May 2, 2019 Landbid called and offered to list a lot in Compass Lake FL for me. I agreed to a one time fee of $675 to list the property.
I paid the $675 by check payable to Landbid Corp to list the lot and was contacted on May 22nd saying they had a buyer for $9,654.00 and requesting a moneygram for $595 (to Vanessa N, hers didn't go through so it was requested to send to Phillip K, instead) for closing costs and one for $459 for a "Perk Test" (payable to Michael P). I sent them the same day. On June 5th the owner of company "Robert" called and said those people did not work for him any more and would call me back the next day. To date (July 5, 2019) I have not heard back for him.

Desired Outcome

I want all of my money back that I have paid into this. I have spent on this farce $1,729. I have notified the Sheriff's Department as well and there is an investigator working on this case in my county.

Landbid Response • Jul 09, 2019

I have spoke to Mr. and the Sheriffs office about this matter. Mr. is well aware that these are ex-employees of the company. That are not affiliated with me or either of my businesses. I am working diligently to auction his property off. His contract with Landbid is still active and his property is for sale in the auction.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The person that took my money worked for the owner of this company (as he admits). They stole my money and I want a refund as stated in my complaint. This is a shady business practice and I do not care to list my lot with this company any longer since there is apparently not an employee screening process and he thinks it's ok for his employee to steal and for him not to be held accountable. I stand firm with my request for a full refund of $1,729 and want no further dealings with them.

Landbid Response • Jul 23, 2019

This is the total opposite of what we just discussed over the phone. I am confused as to why we have worked everything out over the telephone and then you add additional info to your complaint that is untrue. I have no problem refunding your initial auction fee minus your title search fee per our discussion.

Please let me know. Thanks
Robert

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I stand firm with my request for a full refund of the money that was stolen from me ($1,729)

Paid for services that were not delivered. Little to no contact, promised made not kept. Over $2500 taken with no service provided.
Robert V. was paid over $2500 to auction properties. Stated he had buyer for property in October of 2018. Promised closing which has yet to happen as of 3/1/2019. $1900 taken from my checking account plus an earlier $700 . He will not return or answer my calls or emails. I have great concern that he is doing this same thing to many others. I am 86 yrs old soon to be 87. Please help

Desired Outcome

I expect full refund of monies paid to Landbid and or any other entity that Robert V. is associated with. Would like to see him stopped of injuring others as he has done me.

Paid to have property listed and fees. Sale pending since November 2018. Owner will not return phone calls, emails.
My father listed a vacant property on this website in 2016. After his death, my mother was contacted about a bidder. I have POA and contacted the owner and signed a contract to sell and paid $1495.00 for deed information, etc. This was initiated in November 2018, the fee was withdrawn from her account and still the sale has not closed. I have attempted to call Mr. V. dozens of times, left messages and emailed. He has responded a few times with excuses and promised to contact me and has not. The last contact was on Jan. 30, 2019. Previously I was told the sale was expected to close on Jan. 31. After saying he would call the next day, I have had no further contact.

Desired Outcome

I wish to either close on the sale or get a refund or two payments of $1495.00 that my father paid to list the property in 2016 and the payment of the same amount that was withdrawn from my mother's account.

Landbid Response • Mar 05, 2019

We are working as fast and hard as we can on the auctioning off of your property. Potential clients that had offered to purchase the property had fell through. We are working with multiple other bidders at this time. We will make every attempt to close the deal through the auction. Thank you for your business.

Customer Response • Mar 06, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This contract was initiated on Nov. 17, 2018. Mr. V. told me it would take 60-75 days to complete the transaction. $1495.00 that was drafted from my bank account on November 23, 2018 for what was described to me as a fee for a title search. My father paid a fee of this exact amount on 3/31/2016. I have contacted LandBid over 30 times by telephone to its office number as well as Mr. V.'s cell phone. I have also sent emails to Mr. V. Most of the communications have not been returned. Mr. V. spoke to me in mid-January 2019 and I was told to expect closing on 1/30/2019 His last communication was an email dated 1/30/2019 stating they were waiting on paperwork. He was to contact me the following day and I have heard nothing from him since. I was not informed about the deal falling through. LandBid has not held up their end of the contract. The fee was paid with the promise of $10,000.00 from the sale to the high bidder. I do not wish to do any further business with LandBid. I demand a refund of $2,990.00 that were paid to them for fees paid for services that I feel were not provided. I do not believe they are working at all to sell the property, but instead scamming my family.
