My experience with LandlordLinks.Net have been very positiveI used the AptStar Program years ago with much successI just signed up for it again based on how superb the service was when I first discovered it The only reason I am writing this is I wanted to see how this really great gem of a service had been received since I first found it a couple of years ago and to my surprise I stumbled upon the Revdex.comNot knowing I could submit a good review on Revdex.com I am doing so now Since I have been through both a) purchasing Landlord Links and b) using the AptStar program previously I will talk about both The Landlord Links ebooks are very usefulIf you have the time to call the landlords directly and if you follow the advice that is wonderfully written you can find a good apartment and bypass all broker fees The same apartments that you can find with Landlord Links are advertised by brokers who collect 15% broker feesA tiny sum of I believe $or $will get you an apartment without a broker feeSo really it seems a much better use of your time to get Landlord Links if you are already trying to find an apartment onlineAt lease you are seeing real apartments and not the stuff that drives most of us insane on sites like [redacted] or Streeteasy Second, the AptStar Process is beyond amazing What you want to know Your search criteria is SCREENEDMeaning if you are searching for a unicorn that does not exist you will not be selected into Kirby's programThat's right - Kirby will only accept people she knows she can help 2.The AptStar process is very much a team effort (as Kirby repeatedly points out and correctly so)Its success is based on being able to call the landlord on the preselected day you choose with Kirby to go see apartments and by staying in touch with her until you sign your leaseI have been renting in New York for a long time and her service is impeccableNo brokerage house can beat itSo for example, even after you sign your lease she gives you incredibly helpful tips that no broker or landlord will ever share with youShe's really the best I agreed to send Kirby a review to use on the website (along with a photo) because, hey, she is saving me moneyTwo years ago, she saved me close to $6,in unpaid broker feesThis time she is going to do about the same for meI can only speak for myself but everything is online now - so I don't mind thanking her publicly by having her post my photo along with my review on her websiteIt is what I agree to BEFORE she does anything for meSo if you want the best help (which imo is AptStar with Kirby - then why not? Revdex.com:
At this time, I have not been contacted by Landlord Links regarding complaint ID [redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I dont agree with the business response that I made a false claim to my credit card company, as I didnt. Landlord links did not find me an apartment as they stated they would, providing documents is not the same as an apartment. And the documents provided did not fit the criteria I outlined. Period. The staff at Landlord Links went from professional to not picking up calls very quickly once I suggested that I did not find an apartment that fit my criteria. I dont think anything the Revdex.com does would change the outcome of this relationship, therefore the case can be closed.
Sincerely,

My experience with LandlordLinks.Net have been very positive. I used the AptStar Program 2 years ago with much success. I just signed up for it again based on how superb the service was when I first discovered it.
The only reason I am writing this is I wanted to see how this really great gem of a service had been received since I first found it a couple of years ago and to my surprise I stumbled upon the Revdex.com. Not knowing I could submit a good review on Revdex.com I am doing so now.
Since I have been through both a) purchasing Landlord Links and b) using the AptStar program previously I will talk about both.
The Landlord Links ebooks are very useful. If you have the time to call the landlords directly and if you follow the advice that is wonderfully written you can find a good apartment and bypass all broker fees.
The same apartments that you can find with Landlord Links are advertised by brokers who collect 15% broker fees. A tiny sum of I believe $20 or $25 will get you an apartment without a broker fee. So really it seems a much better use of your time to get Landlord Links if you are already trying to find an apartment online. At lease you are seeing real apartments and not the stuff that drives most of us insane on sites like [redacted] or Streeteasy.
Second, the AptStar Process is beyond amazing.
What you want to know.
1. Your search criteria is SCREENED. Meaning if you are searching for a unicorn that does not exist you will not be selected into Kirby's program. That's right - Kirby will only accept people she knows she can help.
2.The AptStar process is very much a team effort (as Kirby repeatedly points out and correctly so). Its success is based on being able to call the landlord on the preselected day you choose with Kirby to go see apartments and by staying in touch with her until you sign your lease. I have been renting in New York for a long time and her service is impeccable. No brokerage house can beat it. So for example, even after you sign your lease she gives you incredibly helpful tips that no broker or landlord will ever share with you. She's really the best.
3. I agreed to send Kirby a review to use on the website (along with a photo) because, hey, she is saving me money. Two years ago, she saved me close to $6,000 in unpaid broker fees. This time she is going to do about the same for me. I can only speak for myself but everything is online now - so I don't mind thanking her publicly by having her post my photo along with my review on her website. It is what I agree to BEFORE she does anything for me. So if you want the best help (which imo is AptStar with Kirby - then why not?
Yes one hundred times to LandlordLinks.Net and to Kirby Sommers' AptStar program. I definitely recommend wholeheartedly. She listens very carefully to what you want. She delivers to you the best of what is on the market. And she makes sure you get approved.
The fact that I am beginning the AptStar process a second time shows that it is just good common sense to use this service.

$700 requested. We are in the process of taking [redacted] to court to obtain the $700 we credited her credit card. [redacted] received ALL documents requested for her apartment search. I have used Kirby's AptStar service three times in the past 10 years. Additionally I have recommended her to my friends (who have all been very happy with their results). It is a unique service geared at people who have realistic expectations of the market and who don't want to waste time with brokers. She is truly on the side of the renter and she always teaches me something new. Any time I need help with something Kirby is still only one text or phone call away. The last apartment she helped me find was the only one she sent me. I trust her. I trust what she chooses for me. I also trust that when I move into an apartment Kirby finds me that I will be there for a couple of years, happily. My full endorsement to Kirby, her staff and their excellent customer service skills.

Review: I paid $1000 for a real estate service called App Star Handholding Services from Landlord Links. The service promises to find a no fee apartment in NYC that would match my apartment requirements. The fee is paid upfront, after [redacted] of Landlord Links interviews & accepts you into the App Star program. [redacted] then researches the market to find listings that fit your criteria. She asks that you take one day off work to view the listing of apartments she has found for you. [redacted] claimed that she had never not found an apartment for a client of the program. She asked that I dont contact prior clients out of respect for her and not bothering other clients. The apartments I viewed did not match the criteria I submitted to [redacted], and spoke about numeruous times on the phone about. Therefore, I did not submit any applications for an apartment at the end of the search day. I emailed [redacted] to state objectively why the apartments did not match my criteria and requested follow up action. [redacted]'s response was to wish me well and that the apartment I'm interested in doesn't exist. I paid for a service and delivery, and did not receive the results that are promised.Desired Settlement: I'd like a $700 refund from the $1000 I paid. [redacted] can keep $300 for the "research" she did. I paid for a service and promise that following instructions by [redacted]) would yield my desired results - which was an apartment that matched my criteria. She did not find me an apartment that met my criteria as promised.
