On 3/16/Ms*** purchased a Nissan X-terra "as is" and signed a "Buyers Guide " to that effectShe also signed that she declined any additional warrantyAbout weeks later Ms*** had the car towed back to our lot and said that the transmission went out which we verifiedWe
told her she bought the car "As-Is" but in order to keep harmonious relations we would give her a car of equal value a Nissan Murano and suggested she get a warranty from ASC a very reputable warranty company, which she didOn May 6th she called and said the car wouldn't startWe told her to bring the car in and we would look at itShe declined and we guess she had it towed to a repair shop who gave her a list of repairs that needed to be doneWe called the warranty company, on her behalf, which was above and beyond our involvement, and they said they needed the list of repairs to determine what was covered in her warrantyWe informed her, by phone and in writing, what the warranty company neededWe have not heard back from Ms***We are still willing to help her with the warranty company, which is not our responsibility, but she needs to cooperate with the requests of ASC

January 9, 2016Dear [redacted] or whomever it may concern,Thank you for reopening this case, as you tell nothing has changed, the car is still not fixed. In response to [redacted], I have called and left messages, yet I have not heard even once from Landmark since the car has been towed on September 14th, 2015. It seems the only time I get a response from Landmark is when the Revdex.com is involved. I did not even know where my car was until your last letter. I spoke with the staff from [redacted] (who also has not heard from Landmark in weeks) and they still do not have any solution. Had I known that it would have been taking this long, I would have taken the loaner car.I have owned the car for 9 months now, and in that time it has spent over 7 1/2 months (and counting) in for repair, with no end in sight. I have been more than patient with Landmark, and after the conclusion of the original Revdex.com case, they were given a chance to correct this matter and they squandered it. This has gone on far too long, I just want my money back and so I can be done with this business.Sincerely,

To whomever it may concern:We have done everything in our power to rectify this issue with [redacted] vehicle. The vehicle came back after he purchased for an ABS (Anti-Lock Brake) system fault. Once the fault occurs, the vehicle gets put into a fail-safe mode and will not shift out of first gear....

After hours looking at the vehicle in our own facility and not being able to fix the issue, we sent it out to our local [redacted] dealership. There they have access to more resources and certified mechanics who specialize in fixing these type of issues. While the car was at the dealership, we offered [redacted] access to one of our vehicles from our rental company free of charge and other compensations to make up for the inconvenience. After multiple visits to the dealership, the problem still existed. After speaking with the service manager over at the [redacted] dealership, we have come to find out it is a common problem that is occurring in the 2005 [redacted]. According to the manager there, “[redacted] are aware of the issue and until the engineers figure it out, there is no fix. We have done everything in our power to fix this issue. We have offered [redacted] free loaners and other compensations to make up for the inconvenience this has caused him. Clearly it is a [redacted] issue and it is (unfortunately) out of our hands but we are willing to help in any way we can.Thank you, Louis F
