February 17, 2017Dear *** ***We are in receipt of your letter dated February 8, and *** ***'s complaintWe appreciate the Revdex.com's goal of facilitating resolutions to consumer complaints, and Landmark Homes takes all customer complaints seriously; however, *** *** has repeatedly and
consistently refused to cooperate in allowing us to address his complaintsHe has specifically prohibited all Landmark Homes representatives and all representatives of our subcontractors from coming onto his property to examine the items he is complaining ofHe has demanded, and we have accommodated, a number of meetings with members of Landmark's management team, including a meeting in October of that included the owners of our company, our Director of Construction, our Director of Purchasing and Estimating, the project manager responsible for the construction of the home, the *** and the co-owners, the ***Before the gathered group was able to discuss all of the items *** *** was complaining about, he abruptly ended the meetingNevertheless, Landmark Homes prepared a detailed letter listing all of his complaints and our response to each, including our proposed resolutionsThe ***' and ***' response to our letter did not accept our work proposal, but instead stated they had obtained counsel and would be involving the State Attorney General's office.We have invited *** *** to work through his attorney and ours to negotiate a reasonable resolution, and he has declinedWe beileve that we have exhausted all possible avenues available to us to accomplish the work that reasonably falls within our warranty obligations, and we are prevented from doing So at every turn by *** ***'s refusal to authorize us to do any repair work.For your information, *** ***'s home was constructed as a spec home and was an entry in the Harrisburg Parade of Homes, winning five silver medals and one gold medal, including medals for exterior and landscaping.Because *** *** has threatened legal action against Landmark Homes, we decline to provide a more detailed response to his Revdex.com complaint, and we specifically prohibit the Revdex.com from publicly posting our response on the Revdex.com website.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to *** ***'s complaint.Regards,Connie A

met with the customer’s approval. I have included a message directly from [redacted] addressing the completed work. Landmark feels, the customer response clears up any misunderstanding there may have been between [redacted] and Landmark Homes.[redacted] Updating this review: Landmark reengaged with us and came to look at the work done in our backyard. They agreed to correct it and have since done so.  They were very professional in how they handled this after our complaint here and  while we are yet to "test" out the new yard when it rains, we are hopeful the problem has been resolved.
