This response was Very defensive and all the math in the world does not explain how I was Allowed to leave to dealership that day Insured and registered if the truck was not mine to use, drive and purchase new tiresI did drive to the dealership on the day of contract in my Family van ( A working vehicle ) and traded it in for $downthat was accepted by the dealershipwhere is your receipt of the auction price of My van for $ ? proof of phone calls made to me repeated in the course of the weeks I had the Truck? these sales practices need to be reviewed by the Doolittles and the Attorney General in which a consumer is ALLOWED to leave the Lot WITHOUT Finance and have it returned weeks later and have the audacity to claim I owe when the keys were handed to me !! as in Mine !

1/29/18[redacted] came into our dealership to purchase our 2015 GMC Acadia with only a trade that wasunsafe to be on the road. To give her the best chance of financing, we purchased...

her 2008 Kia for$1500.00 so she would have the required down payment for the financing, She unfortunately could notprove her income as she stated on her credit application and was therefore unable to secure thefinancing and had to bring our 2015 GMC Acadia back.During the S to 6 weeks after she took delivery of the Acadia, [redacted] could not provide the proof ofincome she claimed on her credit application. She also cancelled several appointments with us toreview what she needed to obtain financing. She also drove the Acadia 4,269 miles in this short periodof time.We have refunded the $1,500.00 down payment that she used trying to obtain financing, Which wegave her for her unsafe Kia Sedona of which we sold at auction for $700.00 minus the fees for a net of$590.00In closing, we believe [redacted] owes our company for 4,269 miles at $0.43/mile or $1,835.67Gave [redacted] $1500.00 for a Kia van that was only worth $590.00 ($910.00 difference)6 weeks of rental use at $300/week = $1800.00Clean and re-prep after the 6 weeks $159.00For a total of $4,704.67 * Tires [redacted] did not buy ($750.00)Balance owed to Landmark Chevrolet= $3,954.67Sincerely,Brent [redacted]Landmark Chevrolet, Inc.enclosures
