Landmark Construction came to ky house in October for a leak under my bathroom vanity. They came over took my vanity to the garage and were suppose to come back clean up and fix all the repairs drywall, paint what got messed up etc. That was in the middle of October. I called Constantly to get an answer and an estimate to what the job would be. I was told Matt was figuring it up MULTIPLE times and would call me. Once I was told I wasn't there only customer after not having a bathroom for up to 3 weeks. I called them from MD Anderson my last time I reached out and was told Matt was just about done and would call me back that day.. he said he saw the estimate with his own eyes. I Gave up eventually and had someone else fix it. NOW in AUGUST of 2020 they send me a Past Due bill Out of the Blue! No No No this company is Not treating me this way!

Great job drying us out after our leak. Thanks Brendon and Landmark for the great customer service.

Mr.P*** came out and checked for moisture and then explained to us what needed to be done. He is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. His workers came out the next day and did what they needed to do. They were also very nice and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this company and would call them again if I have a problem.

This notice is in complaint to the above listed company, Landmark Construction. The president, Art K, has overcharged*** by 5,000.00. The company refuses to complete the agreed upon work at *** Landmark is requiring $3,000 in advance prior to completing work that was previously paid for. They will not reply to calls and emails. They will not provide a paid invoice for work completed in order to provide to my insurance.
Please assist in contacting this company on my behalf.

This company takes the phrase "cutting corners" to new, literal levels. If you get nothing else from my review, get this: use anyone but Landmark.

This company dragged my relatively small project on for months. The employees are nice enough, but are unbelievably slow and inept. More than once, I had to call the main office to "tattle" on Ben, the project manager, who had gone totally AWOL and would not communicate despite my house being in complete disarray thanks to his project management.

Installing quarter round proved too difficult for this company. They had to come out over 4 separate times to complete this job. They literally skipped parts of the wall because there was furniture or a floor mat in front of it. They skipped the kitchen entirely. And when they did return to install it there, they literally just left giant gaps in each corner without joining the pieces together. They were dumbfounded that I wanted the quarter round to join at the corners. ***
They destroyed 2 toilet lids by putting tools on them. They re-seated toilets crooked and rocking and leaking. They left the closet bolts uncovered and did a caulking job you'd expect from a toddler.

There are places in the laminate floor with visible gaps between planks. There were gouges in it that they filled with wood filler and called it a day. They did a sloppy paint job in both bathrooms (at least they got the color right, though).

It was unbelievable how many times these people had to come back to my house to fix their screw-ups and even now, a year later, I'm still finding fresh, mind-boggling issues.

If you care about your house at all, use someone else.

After receiving the above review, we immediately reached out to the customer. We asked to come see her issues and address her concerns. She refused our services. This is not how we conduct business and we explained, if we are at fault, we would like to make it right. She again wouldn't let us provide a solution.

As I explained to the owner, who did indeed immediately contact me to offer his apologies, I do not have any faith in this company to make it right, having seen almost every aspect of the work they did for me go wrong. So for what it is worth, yes, the business did reach out and did offer to make it right. I declined because I do not think it is possible.

Landmark Construction's water team was very efficient and helpful throughout my process. They were also very informative about my restoration process. I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a fair and trustworthy company.

Living room and kitchen ceiling repairs.
We file an insurance claim for landmark construction to do the repairs to our ceiling. They did it but the cracks has return. So we called them back and they came out to look at it and said they will be sending someone out by the end of the week to repair it again no one hasn't came yet. It's been three week or more now.

Desired Outcome

To come out and repair what should have been repaired at first.

Landmark was very helpful and explaining there process and letting us know they where there for us,being that we are first time homeowners we didn't have a clue of what or anything we should be doing.They talk with us calming us because we where a wreck and I deeply appreciate there commitment to customer services and understanding our fears and letting us know that everything would be ok!There professionalism was in peak able coming in caring for our home with the same love as am sure they do there on,it showed and manner from moving furniture to handling all items in our home.We personally think they deserve a ten star rating for being a well rounded team with such great quality service!

That's how I define Landmark's work. We had a major water spill from a stopped drain located in the middle of the house. Landmark came out THAT DAY and inspected the area. They came back in the morning to finish what I could not do and all is well!

I have nothing but great things to say about Landmark Construction & Emergency Services. The water mitigation team came in and everyone knew their job and did not waste any time getting things done. A hard working group of men. Everyone was very nice and very informative on what was being done and what would have to be done next. Which was a life saver for me,because I have never had to deal with a flooded house. I would not hesitate to use Landmark for any of my Construction needs. A very caring company, and the people are just awesome.

Delbert P and his crew from Landmark Construction Company gave superior service and they were extremely helpful through a traumatic experience. Delbert was knowledgeable and provided me with a detailed explanation of the services that were being rendered. He went over and beyond the call of duty. While extracting the water from my flooded bathroom, he also assisted me with turning my water back on, changed the lightbulb in the flooded bathroom, and fixed the storm door. I highly recommend Landmark Construction Company for their prompt response, their effective and efficient service, and professionalism. The personal touch offered really helped me through a very difficult time.

I loved this company! They came in and did an amazing job and did a great clean up as well! They were extremely informative about all that was going on. Definitely will refer to others!

Landmark keeps calling me to pay an invoice which I never received for repairing my roof that still leaked, and I had to pay another roofer to rapair.
In May 2017, a bad storm passed through Memphis that caused roof damage to my residence. Per the recommendation of my insurance company, I contacted Landmark Construction to complete the repairs. After returning home from vacation, I saw that they had put black paper on my roof to cover the spots in need of repair. I contacted the representative on about three occasions to schedule a time to complete the repairs, but he never came. When the insurance adjuster came to my house to assess the damage for my claim, he told me that he saw I was being charged $350 for temporary repairs. I informed him that I didn't receive an invoice. I called Landmark again to ask why I was being billed so much for something that's temporary, and Landmark told me not to worry because the insurance company would pay not me. I told him that the only way I knew the cost was because of the adjuster telling me. I still didn't have an invoice. In the meantime, I contacted three roofing companies for estimates because my roof was still leaking, and I paid another roofer to repair my roof.
In September of 2017, Landmark started calling me to tell me that I have an outstanding balance with them, and I need to pay. I have told them them on two different occasions in September that I still didn't have an invoice. I even told the young lady that I spoke with that maybe I wasn't charged because the job was never completed. She informed me that the company was overwhelmed after the May storm, and they dropped the ball with several customers. On September 21, I was contacted while at work by Landmark Construction by a gentleman who firmly insisted that I pay my bill. I informed him that I still haven't received an invoice. He said that it was emailed to me. I told him that I never received it. I asked him why was I being charged for services that were not completed. He stated that I needed to pay for the temporary repairs. He still very firmly insisted that I pay and that I have received an invoice. I told him that maybe it was sent to my Junk Mail. He said that he would resend it. The invoice was not in my Inbox or my Junk Mail as of September 22., 2017.
So, the only information that I have about their repairs are what I received from my insurance adjuster. I don't know if they are accurate or estimated. The adjuster seemed surprised that the cost for temporary repairs was $350 when the total for his estimate for repairing the roof was about the same as their temporary repair.

Desired Outcome

I would like for Landmark Construction to stop contacting me. After they did the temporary repair, my roof was still leaking, and I had to pay another roofer to repair my roof. Plus, they never sent an invoice to me.

Yes we did a temporary repair to Ms ***'s roof. Temporary repairs are done in emergency situations to keep the property from receiving more damage before the permanent repair can be made. We created an invoice on August 17 and mailed it to the address on file. We attempted to call on Sept 7 and Sept 20 and left messages both times. We emailed the invoice on Sept 21 to her and to her insurance adjuster. Ms *** made a partial payment on Sept 25, at which time we mailed an invoice with the updated amount due. Ms *** was paid for this invoice by her insurance company and should have forwarded the check to Landmark. Ms *** made another payment today, Oct 10. Her new balance is $262.04. While we apologize to Ms *** for any miscommunication on our part, we made the repairs and she was paid by the insurance company and we expect payment in full of $262.04. Any attempts made to contact Ms *** to make permanent repairs to her property were never answered.
