Landmark refuses to return my original documents.
On Monday, Feb 10, 2020 I spoke with Crystal *** an employee of Landmark. I requested cancellation of services and the return of all original documents for both me and my finance Morgan *** (as we are on the same account). She refused to return the originals, instead she said she would scan the documents to me. I warned her the scans would be difficult because the documents are in color and front and back. I asked her to have her manager call me if she could not return my original documents. I did not receive a call from management.
Crystal scanned the documents to me in black and white, missing several pages as I predicted.

On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, I responded to her email, again asking for original documents, re-iterating my concern that the documents were incomplete. She returned my email on the same day informing me copies were available for pickup. She also stated she would have to get permission from corporate as I forfeited my original documents based on the contract signed to initiate services. In response I said yes please seek approval from corporate. With no response, I sent a final request and my intent to file a complaint with Revdex.com. I stated the documents were loaned to landmark credit repair for credit repair related services, they can keep copies but I want my original documents returned. I have had no further contact.

I do not have a copy of my original contract.

Landmark has only sent generic dispute letters which will likely mark my credit disputes as frivolous with the reporting agencies. I need the original documents that I loaned landmark so I have the opportunity to provide detailed and factual responses before the investigation deadlines approach. The creditors will not likely resend such account documents or at least not for an extended time period.

I am not complaining of the service provided or how they billed for services not performed, failed to provide consistent updates as promised, or how they delayed 2 months after I paid the initiation fees to start services... all of which are valid complaints.... but not my focus now. I want my original documents returned promptly.

Desired Outcome

Return of all original documents that I loaned to landmark for both myself and Morgan

Landmark Credit Services Response • Feb 19, 2020

1st Issue:
She stated that she wanted the originals because they were in color and front and back. I scanned the originals front and back and sent them to her. She emailed me back and said that those would not work because they weren't in color. She said this is why she said the copies weren't correct because they weren't in color. She wanted them sent to Old Bullard so she could pick them up. I told her that I would forward the scans to Old Bullard so they could print them out for her and have them ready for pick up. The were forwarded to Old Bullard the same day and the documents are still at Old Bullard waiting on the client to pick them up. She said that several pages were missing. That is incorrect because I made sure to scan all their documents front and back & verified they were all present.

2nd Issue:
She also states that she didn't mention the Revdex.com until the last email. She mentioned the Revdex.com to me at the 1st email.

3rd Issue:
She said she only loaned the documents to Landmark Credit Repair only for credit repair services. I let her know per the agreement that she signed she was to forward original documents to Landmark and she is supposed to make copies for records. She said she doesn't have a copy of her original agreement.

4th Issue:
She stated Landmark has only sent out generic dispute letters that will only mark her accounts as frivolous. That statement of generic dispute letters is unfounded because we don't send out generic dispute and client have never received such documents from credit reporting agencies stating that our disputes were frivolous.

5th Issue:
She said that she needs the originals so she can provide detailed and factual responses before the investigation deadline approached. She originally told me she wanted her originals back so she could see the progress herself that Landmark had done for her.

Final Issue:
She said I am not complaining of service provided or how they billed for services not performed, failed to provide consistent updates and promised, or how they delayed 2 months before starting after she paid her initial fee. We have worked her account every month. We have been in contact with her and her spouse for monthly updates on their accounts every month. We also started her the day that she started services with us. We started working on her account on 07-01-2019 which was her start date. We worked her file on 07-01 and we billed her her 1st monthly payment on 08-01. So there wasn't a 2 month delay.

Client notified us on 2/10/2020 & filed complaint with the Revdex.com on 2/12/2020. 2 Days later...

We have everything on file and fully documented for the Revdex.com to review.
