I am a customer of Overstock, have shopped with them previously with no problems. On September 1st I placed an online order over $600 worth of items. I noticed my old address was on file so I updated the address. Only to find out that that address had somehow reverted back to the old address so all of my items were sent to the old address in another state. Once I realized this I called overstock. The first customer service rep told me there was nothing they could do about it. The second rep stated they would send ups to the address to pick up the items so they can be sent to me. After waiting weeks for the items I called customer service again who stated after speaking with the United States postal service, they had attempted to collect the items but when attempting the pick ups the new residence rejected the call tags and refused the pickups. So basically my items were stolen and and I’m still liable to pay the $600 for the items. I work hard for my money and I don’t feel it’s right that I still have to pay for the items when A) I don’t have them and B) they were sent to the wrong address. At this point I will have to pay because I care about my credit however they have lost a good customer. My credit card I have with them will go unused because I will not patronize with a company that acts as if my money grows on trees. They KNOW that I don’t have the items yet I’m having to pay for someone to enjoy them.

This complaint is against Overstock Furniture: ***, New Carrollton MD *** I purchased an adjustable bed and was misled by an Overstock salesman who told me that the sale price included a mattress. We even tested the mattress in the store. After negotiating a price, I agreed to purchase the bed which, including taxes, came to a total of $1664.94. I put the bed on lay away and from then on, made regular payments, however I received a few calls from Overstock saying that they were ready to deliver the bed on Friday January 25, 2019. I felt rushed but I tried to hurriedly got the rest of my money together to make the final payments, and when I did, the store agreed to deliver the bed on January 25th. My daughter was home for the delivery. However, once the delivery men came, she called to inform me that no mattress was delivered. I called Overstock, however they informed me that I only purchased the base of the bed, not a mattress. After discussing things further, they told me that the store manager was the only one who could assist me and he would not be in until the next day. I felt very sad and abused for the day light robbery and theft of my money. To add insult to injury, when I returned home the evening of the delivery, I was surprised to find that the bed base malfunctioned and was not fully functional. The next day, Saturday January 26th, I went to the store to speak with the store manager, Mr. H, however he provided no resolution. I have been in contact with him this whole time to figure out a solution, however he consistently took the side of his sales person, saying that the company will do nothing. He keeps referring me to the receipt, which does not state that a mattress was not included in the purchase. My daughter was present when I purchased the bed. She witnessed that the salesman did say that the mattress was included.

I am very disappointed because if I had known that the $1,664.94 cost didn't include a mattress, I would not have purchased the base at all.

The manager told me all three of my items needs to be order and it would take 6 weeks.After waiting over 6 weeks for my items, *** on *** delivered the wrong items, they delivered the store items they had in stock instead of the items I chose on the floor , they delivered the wrong coffee table, the wrong carpet and a couch with no legs. I try to contact the manager, I went to the store, he said I cant get my refund and theres nothing he can do about it. I returned the coffee table and the carpet. now I just have a couch with no legs. Please Help. They took my money.

I ordered a dining room set from *** I received the dining room set and the chair broke I took the chair back as the advised me to do it took them a year to give me my chair back and then when they gave it to me they didn't assemble it back for me not to mention the rest of the chairs are falling apart please help me solve this matter Thanks.

On July 8th 2017, my sister and I purchased furniture at the overstock location listed for about $8000.00 that I charged on my debit card. The store told us the furniture was going to be delivered within six weeks, which didn't happen. To cut the long story short, during the waiting period, I changed my mind about a console table that was part of the purchase. I notified the store manager, who said I was going to get my money back since it wasn't my fault that the furniture didn't arrive as promised. However, until this day, I have tried to get my refund to no avail. I have called that store multiple times and walked in more than 10 times but still no solution. The original card I charged during the purchase expired and my bank issued me a new card. About two months ago when I went back there, I met and told the middle Eastern/ or Indian guy(one of the managers who described himself on 07/08 as the store owner's brother) who concluded the transaction on the date of purchase that my card had expired and he promised to mail a refund check to my address. I waited to no avail and when I called back after about a month ago, Emmanuel, one of the tellers, took my number and promised to investigate and call me back (which as, usual, took an eternity). When he eventually did, he told me he spoke to the manager and his response was that he already mailed out a check to me and that if I didn't receive it, that's my business and that the case has been closed and I should take whatever action I want to take. My question is: Where is the proof that he sent the check? Can he show prove through the post office that it was delivered? Does their account reflect the check as cashed? If yes, by who/when? Why do they have to treat me this way? I am a peaceful person and all I need is my money back, about $300.00 including all the interest it must have accrued for the past 6 months. This manager and some of his staff have very poor customer service training. Please help me get my HARD EARNED MONEY back.

I went to the Overstock Furniture store to pick out and pay for a bedroom set they set up the delivery date for 12/28/17 between 8am and 2:30 pm I took off of work so I could be there for the delivery They sent me six texts messages to confirm delivery in which I did everytime I waited until four o-clock and called the delivery persons they told me they did have me on the list for me to call the store when I called the person on the phone referred me the manager Mr. R in which they said he was with a customer I decided to go to the store when I got there the manager wasn't there I waited until he showed up he told me that they cancelled the delivery because they did not have all merchandise I was not informed of such thing they told me they wont be able to deliver it until the following week which is unacceptable I asked for refund the manager told me he would have to charge me a cancellation fee of 30% of the purchase price I asked for the number to there corporate office he would not give it to me only the he provided me with is a email address,all I wanted was my money back so I could go somewhere else to get a bed in which I don't have right now.

I purchased merchandise from the Overstock furniture store on Dec 2,2017. I was told my merchandise would be ready to pick up within 10 to 15 business days. I was given a phone call by a associate stating my merchandise was ready to pick up. Upon going to the store, I was told that the truck was in the back unloading merchandise. I was called to pick up my merchandise. Would they check the merchandise prior to calling me? This was four days before Christmas. I went to the loading dock to see my merchandise. I ask them to unpack it, it was damaged, there was marks on the wood and the wood was discolored. I have never been contacted about my merchandise, my merchandise is paid for. I contacted the store and explain to the store manager that I will be filing a complaint.

Now for more than a month, I have been calling to enquire about the status they keep telling me was until they hear from the manufacturer they can't do anything, I asked how long this will take but they had no ideal. It's been more than a month and they keep telling me the same sorry. Please I hope you can help me.

However, after opening the boxes, I realized I did not receive the headboard as well as the hardware neede to put the bed together. I have contacted Overstock customer service time and time again by calling as well as emailing to a supervisor back and forth many times. I finally received my hardware on 11/15/2017 and as of today 11/20/2017 I still have not received the headboard. I received an email from a supervisor today and she advised me that she still does not have a confirmation or a tracking number stating that my headboard has been shipped out to me. She is not sure when my headboard will be shipped to me. For over 3 weeks now I have been sleeping on my mattress on the floor because of Overstocks error.
