My daughter has kidney disease and I called one day to get an authorization to a specialist she has seen throughout her whole lifeI had to leave a message because they never pick up the phoneNobody ever called me backI phoned the next day and got rude peopleThe office manager was just as rude as the receptionistHer name is JenniferI had Humana on the other line with me (a different phone) as the previous representative at Cantonment Medical Center informed me that my daughter was no longer a patient with themI verified with Humana that indeed my daughter is their patient The office manager hung up on meI did not ignore her in any wayI told her I was verifying with Humana what the other lady told meShe hung upWhen I got off the phone with Humana, I called their office back and she was just as rude saying "Well someone in the office was needing my help"I told her it would have been more professional to tell me she would call me back or place me on hold, etc She said she wasnt going to sit there and explain what she had going onI told her I would like an apology at least and she refusedShe told me in order for them to see my daughter I would need to physically come into their office and get a transfer form and fill it out to transfer from DrDina *** back to them (even though I explained she was never transferred to Dr*** She said I would need to do that before they could set up an appointmentShe said my daughter would have to be seen by them before they would give an authorization even though my daughter has only seen them and Dr*** for her kidneys in her years of lifeI have had nothing but problems with this practice with getting auths, laboratory results, referrals, rudeness, etc
