Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/11/10) */ On Sept 2015, our housekeeping supervisor had reported a missing access card that was removed from the DirecTV box from the room number the guest was staying in for the last two daysWithout the access card in the box the guest would've not been able to watch any programs during their stayThe guest never made any complaint to having reception issues with his televisionThe guest was called on the day of his check-out to advise him of the missing access card and make the guest aware of the additional charges he would see on his credit card statementI was unable to leave a voicemail because the phone continued to ring without going to a voicemailThe guest never called back after our initial attempt to contact himAccess cards cannot be used anywhere else (unless it is reprogrammed) and are not traceableOur company does charge in the event of missing or damaged property belonging to the hotel and chose to waive the option of involving law enforcement for further investigationAs a result to resolve this issue we will act in a good faith and refund the guest the full amount of what he was charged for the missing access card

The guest was called on the day of his check-out to advise him of the missing access card and make the guest aware of the additional charges he would see on his credit card statement. I was unable to leave a voicemail because the phone continued to ring without going to a voicemail. The guest never called back after our initial attempt to contact him. Access cards cannot be used anywhere else (unless it is reprogrammed) and are not traceable. Our company does charge in the event of missing or damaged property belonging to the hotel and chose to waive the option of involving law enforcement for further investigation. As a result to resolve this issue we will act in a good faith and refund the guest the full amount of what he was charged for the missing access card.
