Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
Regards,

In Response to Mrs [redacted] Complaint,
Her project completion was extended heavily for multiple reasons. The primary reason was due to failure to pay invoices as work was completed. From the very beginning, obtaining funds from Mr & Mrs [redacted] was extremely...

difficult. The very first payment in which was provided weeks after work had commenced was returned "Insufficient Funds." It was numerous days if not weeks after to have another check reissued. Mr & Mrs [redacted] also chose to use excess funds from the project to make improvements to the restoration. We were asked to provide estimates for well over $18,000 in additional work. Of which, almost $10,000 of that was accepted outside of the original scope from the storm damage. Mr & Mrs [redacted] were already quite a bit behind on the original scope payment schedule due to "Insurance and Mortgage companies not releasing funds." In an effort to keep work progressing and to keep crews busy and cash flow up, we proceeded with  the additional work as we were informed that those improvements would be made with alternative funds and not the funds provided by the insurance company for the storm damage. After those improvements were completed, we were told we had to wait to be paid for the funds to be released from the mortgage and insurance companies. Meanwhile, cash flow was severely dwindled and made every effort to keep work progressing. While attempting to complete the project, other contractors and workers were observed completing other projects in and around the home. Upon review, our final invoice does not reflect us charging for any cabinets nor any window screens. We had replaced two windows and the screens were in place when we received our final payment. The original contract most likely reflects these items as items that were intended to replace, but as work progressed, adjustments were made by Mr [redacted] as he chose to complete certain things or omit certain items. For example, the contract included replacing roughly 400 sq ft of floor tile and the shower enclosure, but those items were not completed at the request of Mr [redacted] in an effort to allocate the funds for other improvements such as upgraded fixtures, crown moulding and additional plumbing for the kitchenette that was added. In an effort to make amends for the extended completion date, there we several line items that were invoiced at $0.00 such as replacing the sidewalk, temporary electrical connection and framing the opening for the in wall AC unit along with several other small line items. Granted, Mr [redacted] did provide 2-3 day laborers to assist in the sidewalk removal, but we provided all the material as well as labor & equipment to form, pour and finish the new concrete.
Additionally, I find that the $750 requested in settlement is overly extreme as per the original quote and contract, the "shelf in the laundry room" was not even included in the original adjuster's estimate nor my original quote/contract which leaves a few window screens in question and as previously stated, were not invoiced nor paid for. If the adjuster had included the "shelf," it would have been a wall cabinet as that's what was originally in place prior to the damage. This was discussed verbally and if I recall correctly, was addressed with the insurance company along with the "contents settlement" which I was not privileged to therefore can not elaborate more.
