Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted],
I do not accept this. It does not matter that I didn't have a contract with [redacted] of Landmark Pavers; my dog was killed because of this man coming onto my property to give an estimate. He left the gate open and he is the reason my dog is dead, and it is exactly this non-accountability that he demonstrates that sickens me. Furthermore, he is suggesting that I am responsible which shows the character of this man, who behaves recklessly at the risk of everyone he meets. Death has visited my family due to a business visit with [redacted] and just because the deal is not on, he responds that he is not responsible which really drives the point of how lawless he feels he can be (without a "contract").
Please continue to post my complaint as long as possible as [redacted] has earned a reputation in my neighborhood and I feel it would be helpful to all others to know that if you don't have a contract with [redacted], be warned, as he feels he can act recklessly with your property and those who live on it. He deserves acknowledgement for the death of my sons dog and it is his lack of regret and accountability that has further caused my family grief and disgust.
Please advise what else I am to do.
[redacted],I have attached a copy of the estimate that was given to me by [redacted] to this statement from [redacted]:"Landmark pavers has not performed any work for this individual, Landmark pavers has not executed any contracts written, oral, or implied with this individual".The above statement is a fabrication of the truth on the part of [redacted]. The estimate below shows that [redacted] of Landmark Pavers DID imply to do work with me.Please advise as to any more I can do.Thank You,[redacted]

To whom it may concern:
The complainant and the customer are two different people regarding this matter.
On or around February of 2014, Landmark Pavers contracted with the customer to install hardscape, landscape, and a steel framed barbecue. We first meat with the complainant and customer on or...

around November of 2013. During the second meeting with only the customer an original quote was given to him which included a custom built bbq. The quote on this bbq was well in excess of his budget. The customer asked “What can be done to lower the cost of the BBQ component of the bid”. It was explained to the customer, at that time that the cost could be lowered if we used a pre-built steel framed unit and simply set it in place on top of the pavers. He were very interested in this option, so the bid was amended to remove the custom bbq and add a pre built unit. This change represented a significant cost savings.
Upon completion of the project the complainant became involved and refused to pay the final payment because she did not like the location of the bbq. [redacted] made a site visit at this time to perform a final walk through and to address her wanting to move the bbq unit. It was explained to the complainant at that time, that to move the unit, the pavers would have to be removed, the gas line and electrical would have to be re-trenched and moved to the new location, and the gas and electrical would have to be re-connected. Despite the fact that the customer signed off on the original Landscape plan and location of the bbq, Landmark pavers gladly, and without argument, performed the necessary work, free of charge and at considerable cost to Landmark Pavers. At no time during this final walk through did the complainant or customer express their displeasure with the bbq unit.
Regarding the parts of the sod that were dying, Our crew was at the project last week to replace the few dead parts of sod. The customer was advised at the time. that when he mows his lawn he must collect the clippings and not leave the cut grass clumps on his lawn. This repair was performed free of charge.
Regarding the hillside irrigation zone. The customer asked our field supervisor to disconnect this zone for the time being because the zone was not yet needed. The complainant now wants this zone to work. This will be done free of charge.
[redacted] Landmark Pavers

We are very pleased with the project Landmark Pavers completed for us. Our project was primarily replacing our concrete patio and driveway with paving stones, but also included some landscaping, irrigation, lighting and carpentry. All the phases of the work were high quality, and were finished in a timely manner. We appreciated that once the work started, it proceeded without interruptions--we saw progress every day. The results of the project met our expectations very well.
Landmarks workers were polite and helpful. The foreman kept on top of the project, communicated whatever problems or changes came up, and promptly answered any questions or requests we had. He did a good job of making useful suggestions without being "pushy" in pursuing more business. The Landmark landscaper was very knowledgeable and helpful. Suggestions he made enhanced the project significantly. The Landmark carpenters built a custom shed and gates, turning a "dead" area into useful and attractive storage. We were generally impressed with how the Landmark crews worked and treated us and our property.
We were not necessarily looking for the lowest cost contractor, but Landmark's pricing for the project was very competitive--the lowest proposal we received. We were provided with a very detailed estimate of the project's costs. All changes to the original project were documented in clear detail. Landmark's approach eliminated misunderstandings about cost or what was included in the project. When questions arose (as they always do in projects like this), we (both Landmark and us) were able to refer to the contract and/or the change orders and quickly resolve what had or had not been agreed to. This made for a good working relationship and high satisfaction on our part.
We have received a number of compliments from visitors and passers-by, and would be happy and confident to recommend Landmark.

Landmark Pavers has accepted no money from this individual.  Landmark pavers has not performed any work for this individual, Landmark pavers has not executed any contracts written, oral, or implied with this individual.  Landmark pavers has expressed condolences and sorrow at the loss of her dog.  However, it is a homeowners responsibility to keep their pets within their yard.  As she is not a Landmark Paver customer we fail to see how a complaint can be arbitrated or resolved by the Revdex.com.  Nonetheless, we wish her and her family all the best.

Thank you.

Worst experience all the way. Sales over promised. We didn't get samples/materials on time. So many mistakes were made. Lack of communications, dishonesty, disrespectful. Project was supposed to be done in 4 weeks and went for 9 weeks until we asked them to close the project. We gave them enough opportunities to make it right but they failed to do so. The worst part is the lack of workmanship. I didn't mind the delay if the job was done right. Now we have to look for other contractor to fix their poor quality job.
