Landmark Restorations Reviews (6)

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because he is misrepresenting how things transpired Attached you'll find an estimate from [redacted] and Landmark Restoration and French Drains dated 8/06/ In the estimate he specifically mentions 6" SDR pipe, which is commercial grade, not residentialSo he knew from the very beginning what I wanted, so to say he didn't charge me to upgrade the pipe, B.S., he charged me for itHis second misrepresentation is that he had my permission to put his sign in my yard I never gave him permission and it was removed the following day, after he took pictures of the sign in my yard with my home in the background I did tell him I would write a positive review, but that was before I realized the system wasn't installed correctly After contacting them on numerous occasions and failing to hear from them, of course I'd never give them a positive reviewAnd to say he felt threatened by me and "for the safety of his employees", please show me when I have ever made a physical threat Because if he felt that threatened, why didn't he contact the police? That's because I never physically threatened him I did threaten to contact the Revdex.com, write negative reviews, and possibly seek legal action, but I never made a physical threat Let's stick to the facts because he keeps deflecting and saying that I'm the problem I've attached a copy of my paid invoice and if you'll look on the second page, it clearly states a year labor warranty It doesn't say, "year labor warranty but I get to opt-out and not honor it whenever I want" No, he is promising people a warranty and failing to deliver, so what else would you expect someone to do? He clearly acknowledges I tried to make contact with them on a number of occasions, so why not get back with me? Why ignore me and act like I'm trash that you can disregard I paid him $6,for a complete french drainage system and the work is not complete I'll take this to court and get my money but he doesn't deserve an "A" rating by the Revdex.com Don't let someone else fall victim to this bait and switch, it's not fair and it leaves the homeowner holding the bagI kept up my end of the deal and paid the invoice, which has a year labor warranty He doesn't get a free pass because he's using the excuse that he and his employees felt threatened [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

In regards to Mr. [redacted], we installed a French Drain system. We even used commercial sized piping at no extra cost to ensure his French Drains system was top notch.  Throughout the time of installation any and all changes were brought to the owners attention daily. The system was tested...

vigorously. Once the job was completed, he approved and paid in full. As a matter of fact, he was so pleased about the work that he asked if we could leave our company sign on his front lawn. To our surprise, a week later, Mr. [redacted] asked if we could regrade dirt at back of property where grass was touching foundation. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that it would create flat surface which would create pooling (standing water). However, he insisted, so we did as he wished.  He then promised us a "Stellar" review. Few days later, we recieved another message from Mr. [redacted] asking  us to cut all downspout connections height, we did.  Few days after that, he wanted dirt brought back to put grading back the way it was because it was pooling. So, we brought more dirt to put it back the way it was originally. Then he wanted even more dirt than before. The time of his last request, I could not get to his home right away since I had other installs to get to and told him I would as soon as I had an opening on my schedule. My daughter was also admitted to the hospital at the time as well, so I was busy with that too.  Mr. [redacted] became very impatient and unstable. He started sending nasty and threatening messages to my cell phone. He was acting irrational and not wanting to communicate in a proper manner. For my safety and the safety of my employees, I made the executive desicion to part ways with Mr. [redacted]. We did everything to make sure Mr. [redacted] was fully satisfied with his system and that it was working properly. We regret that we could not resolve this problem with Mr. [redacted]. Our customers are important to us. We at Landmark Restoration and French Drains take pride in our services. Sincerely,[redacted] Landmark Restoration and French Drains[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because he is misrepresenting how things transpired.  Attached you'll find an estimate from [redacted] and Landmark Restoration and French Drains dated 8/06/2017.  In the estimate he specifically mentions 6" SDR 35 pipe, which is commercial grade, not residential. So he knew from the very beginning what I wanted, so to say he didn't charge me to upgrade the pipe, B.S., he charged me for it. His second misrepresentation is that he had my permission to put his sign in my yard.  I never gave him permission and it was removed the following day, after he took pictures of the sign in my yard with my home in the background.  I did tell him I would write a positive review, but that was before I realized the system wasn't installed correctly.  After contacting them on numerous occasions and failing to hear from them, of course I'd never give them a positive review. And to say he felt threatened by me and "for the safety of his employees", please show me when I have ever made a physical threat.  Because if he felt that threatened, why didn't he contact the police?  That's because I never physically threatened him.  I did threaten to contact the Revdex.com, write negative reviews, and possibly seek legal action, but I never made a physical threat.  Let's stick to the facts because he keeps deflecting and saying that I'm the problem.  I've attached a copy of my paid invoice and if you'll look on the second page, it clearly states a 3 year labor warranty.  It doesn't say, "3 year labor warranty but I get to opt-out and not honor it whenever I want".  No, he is promising people a warranty and failing to deliver, so what else would you expect someone to do?  He clearly acknowledges I tried to make contact with them on a number of occasions, so why not get back with me?  Why ignore me and act like I'm trash that you can disregard.  I paid him $6,350 for a complete french drainage system and the work is not complete.  I'll take this to court and get my money but he doesn't deserve an "A" rating by the Revdex.com.  Don't let someone else fall victim to this bait and switch, it's not fair and it leaves the homeowner holding the bag. I kept up my end of the deal and paid the invoice, which has a 3 year labor warranty.  He doesn't get a free pass because he's using the excuse that he and his employees felt threatened.  [redacted]
