Landon's Elite All-Stars

I had 5 children in this program, 2 of whom were depressed when we started out, 1 who was getting in to trouble in school and failing, and 2 who were extremely shy. What LEA did for them, I'll never be able to put in to words how grateful I am for that. What my children gained from LEA is priceless to them and I... If the program was to continue so would we! I am grateful for the confidence, self esteem, and life lessons that my children learnt from LEA and it's staff, not to mention the cheer family we gained from being a part of the teams.

We entered a contract with Landon's Elite AllStars for elite competitive cheerleading experience for my daughter. Our expectations based on his advertising and our contract where the following:
3 competitions
1 supportive class a week instructed by a certified coach
at least 1 team practice a week instructed by a certified coach
Receive a uniform top skirt and undershorts
With full payment not be required to fundraisers
Additionally we paid for private lessons which where not provided
The business is not recognized as a business in Broome County
Facility lacked functional bathrooms/ hand washing

I signed my daughter up for a half year prep all star cheer team. According to the contract, we were supposed to recieve a full uniform, a bow, at least 3 competitions, and a weekly tumbling class, in addition to the regular practices. What we actually recieved was a top to a uniform (no bottoms), no bow, we only participated in 2 competitions, and approximately 50% of the tumbling classes were cancelled and not rescheduled. I do not believe that we received what we paid for.

The gym closed abruptly and we still had practices and a comp left. He owes money for tuition and a bow we paid for and never received. We had a guideline of what to pay and for what and since he was bouncing checks and comps weren’t paid for where is the money we gave him? I hear he didn’t pay for uniforms etc which we had to pay for. I want proof this stuff was paid for with the amounts he made us pay because if he didn’t use the money for what it was intended why does he have it? Unsure if he had insurance on the kids which we had to pay for. We paid for my daughters whole season upfront in full before season started. We had to pay $400 for uniform and $400 for comp fees $60 for registration/insurance fees $30 for bows and $75 for music. This was all per child. I just want to make sure it went to intended purpose. And I know he wasn’t around for much of March for tuition (monthly tuition was $60) that month and none of April and that is reflected on my statement that I have in my favor. My account shows I’m owed $113.00.

AMAZING. This gym brought my daughter so much happiness. We received so much help from The owner himself. Communication and prices are outstanding . I highly recommend LEA for you r athlete if you are looking for a competitive cheer gym

Dakota Landon accepted monies for services and products and then either didn’t deliver the product or he delivered the product or service but never paid the vendors. He held fundraisers for certain things and kept the money and didn’t use it for the allocated things. He closed his gym doors prior to fulfilling his contracts with people and yet kept the monies that were paid to him for the services not rendered. He has no business insurance and no certificate of occupancy for the building that he uses for his cheer program. He is very unethical and very rude to anyone who calls him on his unethical actions. He broke the hearts of many little girls by closing his doors when the season was not complete. He also accepted money for competition fees that he never paid or bounced checks for, monies for clothing that we received but he never paid the vendor. And fundraisers where he didn’t buy new gym equipment he instead closed the gym doors and left for Florida. He also hasn’t paid rent as his gym in many months.

That my daughter would go to at least 3-4 competitions. She was suppose to get 1 team practice a week and 1 walkover class per week.walkover class was consistently cancelled and not rescheduled. Competitions have been canceled and or changed with very short notice. Dakota has sense closed up the gym without completely his part of the contract I never recieved the classes I paid for nor did I even get a full uniform and bow. Dakota has taken thousands in fundraising money that was suppose to be for new gym equipment and took off with no real explanation

I paid in advance for my daughters cheer season and I'm owed $700 plus money put into fundraisers, that wasn't used for it's intended purpose. Dakota ripped many people off and hurt many children.

My daughter was involved in Dakota Landon's half year prep cheer program. The cost was a flat $600 for the entire season. We were supposed to attend 3 competitions. Practice was routinely canceled same with the tumbling class that was supposed to be included. Competitions were canceled and other ones were supposed to be attended, uniforms never showed up which we paid for. We ordered a warmup suit for a extra $60 which was cheaply put together from Target not what we paid for with the order forms. I was asked to leave after questioning a mandatory fund raiser for a for profit business. I was offered a refund and have not yet received the refund. I have a small claims case open against him for this reason. We never went to a single competition (the half year program did go to 2 after we left the program but not 3 and I heard he paid the entry fee for those with bounced checks). We did not receive a uniform at all(the half year families did eventually receive a home made shirt). I was offered in writing a refund to leave and have not gotten any refund.

Landon's Elite Allstar has broken its promise to myself and my child. Mr. Landon failed to be present at countless classes, canceled competions , changed venues last minute. Mr. Landon has run fundraisers and kept proceeds for his own personal benefit. He is extremely unprofessional when dealing with his athletes and their parents. Mr. Landon disappeared for weeks without notifying his paying customers. He had promised a certain level of experience come to find out he misrepresented his qualifications. He has a problem telling the truth.

Poor communication. Services contracted to were not received. There were multiple cancelled classes and practices. As well, competitions were cancelled and either not replaced at all or replaced with lower-quality competitions. Some athletes received no uniforms or only partial uniforms for which they had already paid. Constant excuses and lies to cover up non-payment to vendors. When questioned about any of these things, parents were insulted and degraded and told that they could leave if they were unhappy with no refund.

Landon's Elite Allstars broke every promise they made. There was issues with the coaches attendance, uniforms, canceled and or changed competitions. The owner did fundraisers specifically stated all proceeds would go to new gym equipment however within 2 weeks of raising $8000+ The owner went MIA. The owner completely is a fraud.

This man took money from children/cheerleaders that they paid him for lessons, tumbling, competitions, uniform, bows, etc. These little girls put their love, sweat, and tears into this man/company only to have him take advantage of all their hard work. They did fundraising on several occasions for expenses and supposedly gym equipment only to have this man take it all for his own purposes. He wrote fraudulent checks for the cheer comp fees, uniforms, etc. These girls received nothing, many with no uniforms. These cheerleaders deserve JUSTICE and I hope you will give it to them. Dakota Landon- owner and coach of Landon’s Elite Allstats was very disrespectful to the athletes and the parents. No communication with concerns. Team Level was constantly changed for competitions so that they would get an automatic win. We did a fundraiser for new gym equipment and $8,000 was reportedly made and nothing to show for it. It’s not going to new equipment because the gym is closed. He constantly cancelled private lesson and classes that were already paid for. Making the athletes feel unworthy, incompetent and scared to mess up.

My daughter was in Landon's Elite All-stars until November. In that time paid $450.00 for a uniform that she never received. Right after that my daughter got a concussion from practice in his gym. I sent him a text telling him that *** cannot participate in practice she has a concussion. He said she did not. *** came home and told me he made her practice and she got kicked in the head again, causing her concussion to get worst. *** was taken out of school for over 2weeks and then slowly able to go back full time in a 3week period.

1) We were instructed to participate in a "mandatory" fundraiser for new gym equipment. We either had to pay $75 to opt out of fundraising, or contribute $20 worth of lottery tickets, then sell raffle tickets and pay ourselves back the $20, then give the rest to Dakota Landon (owner). I Venmo'd him $230 for selling 25 tickets @ $10 each. He closed the gym right after that fundraiser! So I am entitled to my money back. None of that money went to new gym equipment clearly, and it was advertised as a fundraiser for that purpose.

2) I prepaid for private lessons. 10 for $200. He failed to show up to one - completely stood me up. He also cancelled on me at the last minute and had to reschedule two. He still owes me for 3 privates (he has closed the gym and even if I wanted them he cannot provide this service). He owes me $60 for the lessons.

3) We never received our full uniform. We only received 1/2 of it. Paid $150 for a uniform and only received 1/2 of it, so he also owes me $75 for the second half of the uniform.

Did not provide services and uniform that were promised in the contract.

My daughter used her own personal money to order a jersey and never recieved the jersey. It was a $60 shirt but when your 15 and used the money you've saved for absolutely nothing it hurts.

I signed my daughter up for an All Star Prep team in November of 2018. For $600 I was promised a full uniform, which consists of a bow, a top, and a skirt, 3 competitions, gym time, and one hour of tumble per week. My daughter only received one top, that was not personalized as promised. We only went to two competitions. We were told we would have to pay for the third. I pulled my daughter due to unethical practices and many lies. We were told on numerous occasions that the skirts were ordered, but we never received them.
