Landscape Logic of North Carolina, Inc. Reviews (1)

Poor service; work crew killed neighbor's grass on border with mine; no lime applied as I directed but bill never corrected; abusive contact with rephired co. to perform weed and feed service and aeration; specifically asked for top soil to be added; co. killed neighbor's grass; did not use topsoil but peat moss; left yard in a mess with peat moss all over sidewalk; emailed co. immediately pointing out errors; no lime applied but bill still shows that; left this text after abusive phone call on Jan. 4; I just listened to your nasty and unprofessional message. A number of my letters and emails to your office have been ignored. I have never not returned your call as this one was your first attempt. Your office has never sent us a bill that did not show a lime application and we never had a lime application. Send a correct bill for what services were done and give us credit for the payments made and it will be paid. [redacted] RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING AS A REPLY; You are a [redacted] little man that is obvious .... and you don't want to pay your bill... you think you can [redacted] and moan and complain you're way out of paying your bill but its not going to work. Pay your bill [redacted].......have paid $500 with numerous emails and snail mail correspondence asking for bill to be corrected and for an adjustment since neighbor's grass was killed..Desired Settlementcancellation of service and reduction of bill to -0-Business Response Mr. Customer was given a Quote for aeration & seeding and it was accepted by email on September 18th 2015. The work was performed on September 30th 2015 (Herbicide Spray) & October 17th 2015 (Aerating & Seeding) flawlessly with no concerns or complaints. Only after we invoiced Mr. Customer did we learn of any concerns or complaints when we tried to collect payment. Mr. Customer stated in his complaint by email that we had sprayed over the property line. In a prior email he had stated that the herbicide spray we applied did not work. He also complained by email that no Lime was applied and in a separate email he complained that he didn't want to pay for the lime that was applied. He also stated in email that the price was different that quoted when in fact the invoice was taken directly from the original Sales Order he approved. After numerous attempts to contact him by phone to resolve any issues he may have, we never had any responses from Mr. [redacted] and he would not return our calls. Mr. Customer sent us a check for $100.00 dollars on an invoice that is approaching 90 days past due stating that this was his last & final payment on a balance that is due of $233.50 . His work was performed promptly & professionally with outstanding results. Mr. Customer would not respond to phone calls instead he has written 2 very nasty notes concerning his bill after numerous attempts to contact him by phone we have decided to proceed with legal action. At Landscape Logic we hold our Customers in the highest of regard they are always given the benefit of the doubt & treated respectfully. However we will not tolerate rude behavior towards myself or any of my staffWe have been in business for more than 20 years I am a second generation landscaper. My recommendations & quality of work are second to none. We were voted number one in both Chapel Hill & Durham by over 7000 readers of Chapel Hill Magazine.Once again I would like to state that the quote was accepted and the work was performed flawlessly with outstanding results. What I have learned in my many years of being in business is that that are a very small minority of customers who will go to great links to avoid paying their bill. Mr. Customer is in that minority. Consumer Response What a self serving load of baloney - my emails and snail mail, after the service, were never answered and were always consistent..I did point out the concerns I had prior to receiving any bill..Oct 20 I sent this email; "I am re-familiarizing myself with my yard as I drag the hose around to water and have observed several things1. When weeds were killed, the person spraying strayed over the line and killed a fair amount of my neighbor's zoysia.2. I asked for top soil not peat moss..that is what I thought topdressing was..the peat moss is so light that it runs out of the edges and each watering leaves all 125 feet of he sidewalk a dirty mess not to mention the driveway.3. Leaves were left on the grass and aerated into the soil - I went out and asked that they be blown into the street but they were not4. Neighbor's sidewalk panel was left with considerable fertilizer and seed What does all this mean? Not sure for now. I did like the repeated use of the aerator." Does anyone think I approved the killing of my neighbor's zoysia grass outside my property line? Is zoysia grass a weed? Shouldnt a landscape company know better than that? Pls review the content of his text to me as stated in the Complaint, it starts "You are a [redacted] little man..." do you really think a competent professional would stoop so low as to verbally abuse a customer in this way? That text speaks volumes as to this company's business model...it is a shame all you can do is post what happened to me..Final Business Response In response to Mr. Customer's complaints I do have a record of an email received on 10-20-2015. The invoice was sent to him on the 10-19-2015 and easily could have & most likely crossed each other in route. This is an unfortunate event of mis-communication on our part. I have spoken to Mr. Customer today 1-11-2016 and personally apologized for our lack of clear & concise communication. We consider this matter resolved totally. Please let me reaffirm our deepest apologizes to Mr. Customer & assure him that matters such as this will be handled better in the future.Final Consumer Response On January 11, 2016, I received a phone call from a different representative of Landscape Logic who apologized for the profane text sent to me and indicated my "final" check was being accepted and my account closed. I am satisfied with that result and appreciate this gentleman's call.
