Landscape Maintenance Services (LMS)

We signed an annual contract with LMS for the 2015 season. We knew we made a mistake early on kept getting put off and did not happen until the 1st week of August. The main office said they were behind due to the heavy snow. Our property looked like crap most of the summer due to snow in the winter is what we were told to believe. Our weekly cuts were at best random. Big red trucks would appear with no set dates and a huge crew of workers would jump off and start cutting our 3 acres of property. The supervisor would never leave the truck. The crew was under strict time controls. They didn't weed under the bushes or in the flower beds as contracted and nobody from LMS inspected their work. They only showed up 1 time between Sep 29th and December 12th although they are contracted to keep the property clear of leaves and pine needles in the autumn. We had a bad experience with LMS out of Princeton and Hillside. They did not honor their contract and tried to do as little as possible. We had to call management multiple times to get what we paid for and is outlined in the contract and they would make excuses and still not deliver. There are many reputable landscaping companies around and we learned to stay away from this one. Next year we'll be contracting with someone else.

This company completely misses the mark in lawn maintenance and snow removal in my opinion. I would not recommend ---
