We hired Derek to re-landscape our backyard after we had already had it done twice! Derek understood our vision and brought fresh modern concepts we had not thought of. He was so patient with us as we are very visual. He knows plants and trees like the back of his hand. His prices are also fair. His guys are hardworking, skilled and trustworthy. We love our backyard and cannot wait to have him tackle the front!

We moved into a new home in Morgan Creek on a 1/2 acre lot. The backyard needed complete landscape. [redacted] designed and constructed, with a small input from us, a spectacular looking yard. We are totally pleased with the job, he was prompt and on schedule. We would highly recommend him and his very competent crew.

We moved to Sun City Roseville recently and although we loved the house, the front and back yards had been completely neglected for years and were covered in rock. We were very fortunate to have friends who referred us to [redacted]. He drew up the most unique and amazing plans that were sure to be approved by our association and went to work to create what we consider a masterpiece of landscaping. First, he had to totally demolish what was there and redo the drains and irrigation. He and his amazing workers did not give up when they encountered unbelievable roots that needed to be drilled, hatcheted, and rototiillered out. The whole back fence was filled to about six foot high and five feet deep with roots. In the process, they were clever enough to save some of the rock to create a winding riverbed on the side of the house that went from front to back. Not a simple riverbed, but one with depth and laced with plants. [redacted] knew exactly which plants were appropriate for our vision and for the environment. We now have a yard that uses water efficiently, is loved by our neighbors and friends, and provides an enormous amount of pleasure to us in our retirement years. All this took less than three weeks to accomplish and [redacted] has been there for us for consultations since that time.

We met Derek about 5 years ago through a mutual friend. We hired him to landscape our backyard. They did an outstanding job, so much so that just recently we hired them again to do our front yard. We have received nothing but compliments from all of the neighbors.

Derek took out our front yard and replaced it with trees, boulders, a variety of shrubs and plants, and led lighting. Our water bill is at minimum and it is a wonderfully very low maintenance yard. He did so well that we called him back to do our back yard area when we had some issues with flooding. He built a natural rock wall, planted shrubs and bushes, and used small cream colored rocks to fashion a little retreat area. He has taken care of us so well and he is very, very capable, kind, and considerate of our needs. We would recommend him very highly to anyone wanting really good work done right.

Derek remade my backyard and side yard into a lovely, low-maintenance place to go and enjoy nature.

He worked around my existing deck, and was able to alleviate the problem of standing water every spring in the larger part of the yard. He made suggestions and listened to what I liked and didn't care for. He and his crew were diligent in getting it completed in a timely manner, with no headaches on my part.

The waterfall he created was spectacular! I fortunately had a multi-level yard which lent itself to a more realistic water drop and he did appropriate plantings all around.

It turned out so well my son requested to have his wedding held there. I was extremely happy with the completed project and enjoyed seeing it mature.
