The client was present for the entire project. Nothing was stolen from him. His contract was fulfilled as written. No additional promises have been made to the client. This is a simple case of buyers remorse. If the client would have spoken to our staff in a rational manor , not shutting the door in our face, hanging up the phone on us on multiple occasions and refrained from profanity, we would have been more willing to try and resolve the issues they had.we have since been asked to warranty a few plants for the client. Which were replaced at no cost to the client.They continue to harass our staff.

On numerous occasions we have meet with Mr [redacted]. 
He has had us add additional plants months after the projects completion,  change our drip irrigation fro sprays because "he could not see the water," even multiple adjustments to his watering times and cycles. All at NO additional...

expense to Mr [redacted]. We informed him on multipul occations we can not provide him with life time irrigation monitoring for free.  
The water running across the sidewalk has never been an issue since we completed the project early 2014, until now. We dispatched an irrigation technician to address the issue Mr [redacted] has, his wife refused to let our irrigation technician view the property.  We informed Mr [redacted] there is nothing we can do for him since he is refusing to let us look into the issue. We instructed Mr [redacted] to reduce watering times due to excessive watering. 
 
We wish Mr [redacted] the best!

I am rejecting this response because:(1)Our property was used to finish the project-3 to 4 wheelbarrows of large rock(2)The contract was not fulfilled-earth tone rock was used to complete the project-(3)It is remorse that we chose a bad company(4)Cochran staff also hung up on me & yelled into the phone(5)We never slammed the door on them-a complete fabrication(6)I did not use profanity(7)Of course there is no cost for plants that they planted & died(8)The top assistant said he would look into Moss rock for us-never happened(9)There is crabgrass growing all over-a professional company would HAVE recognized the problem & found a solution-If Cochran does not resolve problems & reimburse, I am going to do the project over(10)We are embarrassed to have our neighbors come over-it is a bad job(11)I SAID SOMEONE FROM Revdex.com HAS TO SEE THE PROJECT OR WE LOSE $3200.00(12) I am a retired educator, teacher,counselor coach for 35 years;my wife was a dental assistant-we have to save to have projects done. I am rejecting this response because: I will still give him the option of refunding us the $1,600 he charged for the blanket and just walk away and I will release him from any other claims. I will take care of it on my own and that will give him a chance to bail out. If not, I want him to take care of everything and if not I am taking him to small claims court.

Company states: we went to customer's property. Technician made proper adjustment. The technician said there was no issue with the landscape fabric. The problem is the mis-matched irrigation system that was installed against our advisement. Now he wants it returned to the original state that it was installed at - that initially installed at no additional cost to him and the fabric taken out and if we do not comply then he will be taking us to court.

In response to Cochran Landscape --I want to get the facts straight! The water flooding walkways
and backyard patio was an issue when project was completed and we got our first rain. I complained
and finally "[redacted]" father [redacted] came and saw the mess. Flooded patio with water and wood
chips. The change in the irrigation was not the drip system, it was the pop-up sprayers that [redacted]
put in. TThey were not always popping up, that is why I suggested putting them on stems. The
irregation expert had the system running for 40 minutes. He said that was what it needs. It was never
suggested to me to cut back watering times. I have done that on my own. It now runs 15 minutes and
still floods the street and some of the plants are dying.
When the irregation man came the last time, my wife was expecting [redacted]. She was told by
[redacted] that [redacted] would be out to discuss the problem so she told irregation man to have [redacted]
come out. She did not REFUSE to let him in just asked for [redacted].
My wife and I took all invoices and picture book [redacted] gave us to [redacted] where he
buys the plants. They said the problem is the weed barrier blanket. It is too thick and non-pourous
Should have used pre-emergence and way too many chips. Not the right kind of ground cover
plants. They said this should be taken care of byCochran Landscape Co. We expect this to be taken
care of or if [redacted] will not then I suggest they refund our $1600.00 that we paid for the weed barrier.
This was their design not ours. This is what is causing the problem and it will be just another mess
when the rains start.

Review: design &installation of backyard is wrong. Landscape put in a small 20 X 40 yrd. He used non-pourouis blanket barrier for weed control. should have used pre-emergence for week control (as per Green Acreas Nursery) He put a mound in center of yard & water runs to drains & pours in front of home out of drains. Runs over sidewalks Most of yard is woodchips we wanted more ground cover for a cooling look. We wanted the yard to be cool and less work. I am working harder now than before having to cut time of watering down so the sidewalks don't overflow-and now the plants are starting to die The heavy duty barrier & excessive woodchips are causing a lot of the problemDesired Settlement: Fix this mess that Landscape by Cochran created. They specialize in "smart water irragation" This design with blanket & bark is a water waster!! come back & fix this yard the way we wanted
