I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There was no offer made other than what was discussed prior to my move...

I do want to point out that I had not sought out alternative accommodation at the time of my conversation with Ms. [redacted]; I began my search after the phone call, based on what appeared to be an encouraging phone conversation which gave me hope that we would be able to move out of a situation that had become unbearable. I hasten to add, the issue was not that we had insufficient room in our townhome. We would have been able to finish out our lease if that were the problem. The problem was that there were residents who were in clear violation of their lease (a lease which states that 1 instance of illegal activity is cause for removal), and the management company would not carry out an inspection of the property to search for any evidence. Rather, they sent letters and made phone calls, which simply exacerbated the situation and caused the neighbors to become more rowdy. We didn't raise formal complaints - we had no confidence that the management company would do anything about it if we did! I would ask them to consider refunding the $4000 buyout fee minus any rent owed while the unit was vacant after we moved out. But I highly doubt that they'll be willing to do this. They have my money and they have clearly sided with our law- and lease-breaking neighbors. I can only say we're glad to be free of them now. Regards, [redacted]
