Complaint Information:
We had installed the *** heat pump a/c system for *** *** in have recently installed a replacement warranty compressor based on a proposal agreement we supplied her with and which she agreed to prior to the installationWe did encounter service scheduling problems which required the use of different crews on a few daysWe were sent a defective compressor in a new box from my supplier that another dealer had returned to them and somehow was shipped to us where upon installation it was discovered as defectiveMy technician called me and asked me where the compressor came from because it had a defective electrical windingMy supplier had to search for another replacement compressor that was shipped directly to us from out of stateIt would be unethical to knowingly supply a customer used parts on any job without their knowledgeIn this case the compressor being installed was a warranty item being supplied at no cost other than labor and miscelectrical componentsIt was unfortunate that *** through no fault of her's got caught in the middle of schedule and delivery problems and finally a defective part being sent and installedI have been in business since continuing a family business that was started by my Father in We value our company name and reputation and above all respect the concerns of our customersI have called and emailed *** to amicably work out a resolution to her situation and I am awaiting her responseI can be reached anytime @ ###-###-####. *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:
The faulty part was installed by *** experts who work for LanducciThey would have seen that the part was scraped and marred and missing letters and old and shoddyThey still continued to add 8# of refrigerant to this old part ( *** experts)
Owner never visited site
I had to initiate each call as to when they would be back
The entire transaction was unprofessional
There are still numerous wires hanging out if the unit, not covered or secured against the elementsIt looks sloppy and unsafe.
I awoke last night , using AC for the first time and the house was extremely warmI doNot even know if the heat is operational
I can furnish pictures.
The original faulty compressor was NOT in a closed boxI could see immediately it looked oddThe guys even asked me for a hose because it overheatedNo one came to check when worker called office to say it was badWhy did they continue to add refrigerant to faulty part wasting more time
They said they were going to New Haven to get a new partThe owner said he was having a new part express shippedNeither occurredDifferent story every day.
I firmly believe that this nearly 10,dollar system had problems from onsetI have been treated badlyOnly now, has there been any attempt at resolutionSend someone from the Revdex.com to see that this is an incomplete job, with wires hanging everywhere

On 8/22/my technicians completed the main installation of the compressor for *** ***I did stop by on that day to check with my menI did also call *** that evening and left a voice mail stating that we would need to return to remove the ( clean up refrigerant filters ) and install new ones in their place since her compressor was a Hermetic burnout ( black acidic refrigerant present) and that I wanted finish this necessary process the following weekThis additional work is included as part of her original contract and is standard industry practice and manufacturer recommendation and requirement to insure and protect a new compressor from damage*** *** received a contract/proposal for the compressor replacement prior to the start of work which she authorizedThe contract total was for $1,which included approx$1,in labor and $for new electrical relays, refrigerant, refrigerant driers, compressor cover and refrigerant which are not covered under warrantyAs an offer of goodwill to *** *** for the inconvenience that was caused to her through this this process I would consider her contract paid in full based on the $ 1,initial deposit she paid usBut in order to satisfy the requirements of a proper compressor replacement we will need to return for the additional work as stated and perform a finish test, other wise the system will fail againI can be reached any time viamy cell # ###-###-####

In addition, please note that the day before my boys father passed away and I assumed wrongly he had not come, as I was in and out and distressed.
