Lane and Associates

They charged me out of pocket for expenses my insurance also paid, so they have been paid twice, and they aren't sending my refund.My name is [redacted] and my birthday is 8/30/88. I had an appointment on 4/17/14 for a consultation. I paid $125.70 for the amount they informed me my insurance would not cover. On 4/22/14 I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance [redacted] stating that they had paid more than Lane & Associates had stated at my appointment, and that my patient responsibility should have only been $49. This means I am owed a refund of $76.70 for funds that Lane & Associates has received from both me and my insurance company. I called immediately to inquire about my refund, and the person who answered the phone notified me that they hadn't received the insurance payment yet, but as soon as they did they would send a refund check to my address. I have now waited 3 weeks and received no check. Today, 5/14/14, I called back and the person who answered the phone stated that my account showed a credit but that she "would have to talk to the office manager about talking to corporate" to have my refund issued. I am not interested in continuing to play their games. They should have checked with my insurance to see what was covered instead of overcharging me to begin with, now they have been paid double and they need to immediately pay back the money they wrongfully charged me.
