Review: On July [redacted]2013 I paid 3400 for 50% flooring deposit for a medical office carpeting and flooring. After deposit was paid, Lane's Flooring told us told carpeting was not available. Lane's kept the full deposit. vinyl Flooring was not placed until September *, 2013. Job was extremely poor, with air bubbles and a large divet in floor. Although contracted no skim coat and no Demolition was not performed although it was paid for. When questions, Lane's stated they were told, by the superintendent that there was asbestos vinyl tile in the exam rooms. The superintendent denies saying anything about asbestos and noted he was on vacation that day. The contracted work was not performed. The four pieces of vinyl flooring were installed and needed repairs due to the poor job. 1/3 of the repairs were finished, and during attempting to repair the poor job, Lane's broke my glass shelving unit and a large glass covered picture. We were not told of the shelving unit until the unit fell apart when I was seeing patients. The cleaning girl had witnessed the breaking of the glass shelves by the workmen and failed to let the office knowDesired Settlement: I would like a refund of and repayment for the items broken. Shelving unit was brand new, and a large picture was also broken. these items were 500. I would like 3400.
